I have had 6 samsung lcds ranging from 3 g's to 600 dollars, even the one thats like 8 years old are still working! What gives, are you guys skeeting on your systems vents?

and the best feature of all, a faulty power panel that will break down after the warranty expires. Do a search on Samsung LCD TV problems and see how many videos you will come up with. My 62" LCD Samsung TV broke down within 4 months from purchase, was replaced and the NEW one broke down the same way. btw: I have both of them on a voltage regulator and surge protector.

what is this faulty power panel you speak of??? Ive had this TV for about a year, and no problem, within the past 2 weeks though theres been about 2-3 times when Im watchin TV and the set will turn off by itself...is this what ur talkin about???

I have favorited some videos demonstrating the problem, you can see them on my profile or do a search on Samsung LCD TV problem.

The Power Panel (in my case Part No. BN44-00150A) contains some cheap Chinese Capacitors that go bad, this usually take something between 4 to 30 months in some cases. Symptoms of the fault might be: TV turning on with screen flickering a few times then the back light goes off leaving audio on, or constant clicking sounds when the TV set is turned on.

I'd recommend LN52A650... This model is very very very nice... very high quality, upgraded TV by Samsung...

@EsotericDesi What the fuck is up with these people talking shit about samsungs i personally own This tv since nov of 08 and I Fuckin love it. did i mentioned that its on about 18 hours a day 365 days a year. i got a 4 year protection with in case but never had a problem with it
