Wonderful job of playing this piece. I especially like that you improvised over a chorus. Thanks for doing something different. Wish you had a spring mute , like the Bacons, or the armrest mutes on older Voxes. Hope to hear you do more melodic songs such as this. Thanks for sharing. Peter M
Obviously this isn't a tenor banjo- with the longer neck I guess it's more mellow. than a tenor. Anybody know the tuning of this banjo. It can't be in fifths like the tenor.
just beautiful. so nice to see the banjo has such a sweet and tender side to it, something you don´t come across too often. And Ken Aoki is just a blast to watch in general. Thanks for sharing this, thumbs up !
Whatta great sound... I have no experience with mutes used to produce such sounds.. What type mute is being used ?? Of course, he would make it sound terrific without the mute,,,
Great music !

I've never heard banjo playing that I really liked - Fleck, Scruggs, Keith regardless - until this. He is a master and a pleasure to watch.

Magnificent, magical stuff as always. The improvisational chorus for both guys is inspired genius. Thanks for this great post.
