@Therissymissy I have been teaching chemistry for 31 years and if your teacher's notes are totally different than this video your teacher better get new notes.

hey im kinda confused on how you figured out the charge number for NA, you too away 1 electron since it was a cation but how did you know to only take 1? how do you calculate that?

@Intervention12345 You don't lose an electron because it is a cation, it is a cation because it lost an electron. In this example the charge was given, I didn't figure it out. If you want to know how to determine the charge you need to go watch the lessons on valence electrons etc.
