the reason he is using his clutch is because its not a sequential gearbox its a standard gearbox with a ikeya formula sequential shifter kit on it (makes the standard H pattern into a sequential shift). and you still have to use a clutch on a real sequential gearbox for when u stop and normally in downshifting.
@CyberPoliceOfficer69 The reason he is still using the clutch is likely because he hasn't bought a dogbox or other high dollar gearbox which is what it takes to slam gears and mesh on its own with just an unload of the throttle. You still have to use the clutch with the sequential however it is likely you wont miss a gear this way. Unless you are a complete moron and completely screw something up somehow lol. Good question though.

The beauty of this shifter is that you don't need the clutch to upshift. Only Down shift.

To do that without blowing box's your going to need a striaght cut dog gears.
