  • what is the vocal in the sample?

  • kelkun connais le sample de la voix?

  • :|

  • GOOD TRACK........ sick words...........

  • lowkey

  • Listening to this song reminds me of why i don't listen to rap anymore today. Not because of this song, mind you. Talib is on my top 5 best MC's of all time list. No, i don't listen to rap anymore because mc's of this caliber simply don't exist anymore. It's like somebody somewhere had a meeting with all the execs and said "let's find the dumbest niggaz we can get and give them record deals. Rap sucks now man....it really does.

  • @jkillah999 Can I correct that mate? There are some top rappers out there, but the vast majority are unsigned, the industry has ruined the standards, a war was waged in the early 90's and guess what, the rich white man won!!

  • @tmma86 Intresting theory...is the rich white man the one in the industry?

  • @LilNaruto9tails It's more a metaphor, modern history dictates that the white man rules, it no longer is a matter of skin colour, it is now a matter of class! The rich white man is a projectable image of those that rule. Rap used to have meaning, granted some went a little over the top with their rehtoric, KRS one comes to mind, but it was real, they were telling a story, their feelings, the situation in which they live.

  • @LilNaruto9tails This mantle has been carried on today by people like Talib, immortal technique, Lowkey, mic R...etc. But the majority of airtime goes to faggots like 50 cent, who is more interested in talking about how much money he has than say something intellectual, the predictable consequences of a process of murder, manipulation and commercialism in the rap industry!

  • @tmma86 Wow...I wonder...what if..

  • @tmma86 Man...can you believe that 50 cent actually destroyed careers?! I'm surprised he hasn't wrecked himself yet.

So few ppl. get the power to influence so many people; and what do they do? They exploit their art form(and other people) and twist that and send that out into the world. It's a shame, isn't it?

  • @jkillah999 i feel your struggle, brother. matter of fact, i gotta be real and say i was a huge eminem fan before he came out with his new shit (and that's what it is... shit). sure he's mainstream, and i dont agree with about 90% of the stuff he said, but he was raw and REAL. Talib is my all time favorite. he never disappoints. dont know where id be without him...

  • I've been putting music on the back burner lately...But listening to this song once has given me that deep inspiration that I haven't felt since way back when I first started writing.

Music is the most beautiful thing.

  • The revolution IS here...now to push it out into the open.

  • 2 everyone out there dat lovz hip hop ..... and r chillin ,,,, 1 love from nyc ...

  • life is like a musical note everybody tryna play on point...good music is good music can't nothing take that away

  • I wish I could find the instrumental to this song!!!

  • one of the best beats ive heard.

  • The mans a poet FULLSTOP awesome.

This is a fantastic track as well.

  • great song. Kweli does not get the noteriety he deserves. He is one of the deepest dudes I've ever listened too

  • 60% of hip hop artists in America are sect members and illuminatis :o((

  • Talib + Hi-Tek = AMAZING!

  • @MsItalia032 I agree , one of my favorite songs ever, The Revolution is inside of you! One )

  • @MsItalia032

Agreed. It's scary how good of a combo they are. Reflection Eternal for life!

  • @Ginga The best combo ever was Blackstar so do not forget that.

  • @Mattu190

I'm a huge Black Star fan so I'm not going to "forget" anything. Black Star is combination of two MCs though. RE is an MC and a producer. Different types of combos.

  • @Mattu190 As much as Blackstar are amazing.... Outkast are the undisputed hip hop duo.

  • @Twanizzle Its opinion at that point.

  • Mans a genius..

  • one of the best talib kweli tunes ever

  • D-O-P-E!

  • "Yo, I heard it said, "The revolution will be televised"/ but in the land of milk and honey, there's a date you gotta sale it buy" or "You go to church to find you some religion/ and all hear is conniving and gossip and contradiction". "They keep calling me the political rapper, even after I tell em I don't f___ with politics/ I don't even follow it/ I'm on some KRS, Ice Cube, Chris Wallace s___, Main Source, DeLa Soul, bumping "2Pacalypse Now". Talib Kweli is a fountain of knowledge and wisdom.

  • life is truly a beautiful struggle

  • @7413321 amen to that comment bro...

  • you must be the change you wish to see in the world

  • who said that again??

  • Mahatma Gandhi
