ok i'm getting desperate!!! now, i'm going through hell keeping the wiimotes alive for more than 1 hour. at first i bought the energizer smart charger... which let me down... (not too sure on this... the batteries that came with it might be to blame, as I still haven't replaced those batteries)
i tried an energizer wiimote charging station. the damn thing came with 500mAh packs, which don't last more than 30 minutes after a nice long charge.
@izlude2 also in addition, is it possible to use non-energizer brand rapid charge batteries in this? i want to kick it up to 3000mAh instead of the 2300's that come with this unit.
@izlude2 google duracell-15-minute-charger-depth-testing steves digicam to see what is going on. there is a hidden top up cycle at the end. fast charging gets you close to the end, but not quite. they should last longer than 1 hour, sounds like a bad set of batteries...or ones too worn to charge that fast.. internal resistance increases as cells age, eventually reaching the point where this charger must reject them to prevent damage. since u tried slow, it means they died
