  • What I find hysterical is that they are so against the "uninformed" young kids when fox news viewers tend to be not only uninformed but grossly MISINFORMED. Dems might be targeting people who don't pay attention, but the GOP uses their tv mouthpieces to give the truely stupid bad information before those people turn on NASCAR

  • John shouldn't himself. BASTARD.!!

  • We need another wrestler to bitch slap this pussy.

  • douche...

  • The funny thing is Democracy (Talking about Aristotle/Greece) only those who had land could vote. However eventually enough of those who didnt have land got land and voted. In essence, pretty much as a society we need to encourage people to go out and do research on topics and their legislators. Instead of the 30 second commercials that decide everything. If people understood what they were voting for this country would be better. Sad part they don't and ruin it for the rest who do pay attention

  • boo boo. the fact that retards can vote is american is a distincly american principle.

  • Man, good thing the electoral college selects the winner...

  • what is with the shit pushing out of your mouth?

  • so that should take 75% of Republicans off the vote list.

  • If you put the criterion that high.. then no one of the democrats can vote..

  • no, more like 25% of Dems shouldn't vote. Stupid people are everywhere, even some Liberals.

  • @stevo7470 right if anythign that would take more liberals away. the rock the vote tours? rock against bush? its popular for young kids to be liberals i should know im a young kid you cant find any republicans. Im not a republican for the record. also look at the numbers democrats make such a big deal about not having low voter participation every election. that just means that a majority of people registered as democrats dont pay attention and dont care.

  • It makes sense. I mean I am in no way of FORCING someone to be informed , but I do agree that each of us has a responsibility, when we vote, to be informed about the candidates and the issues.

  • BTW, i must be crazy because i have a different view of the world than the majority. i should go get my tinfoil hat because i think globalists exist. i definitely don't know anything because i think the population, in terms of wealth, is structured like a pyramid. there's no way any of what i'm saying could be true, it's just too horrible to be true, RIGHT? Rothschild, Rockefeller, New World Order, Illuminati, CFR, Bilderberg Group, HAARP, Nikola Tesla, Nibiru, Sumerians, Pyramids, Pineal Gland

  • The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure. THOMAS JEFFERSON, letter to W.S. Smith, Nov. 13, 1787

  • Thank you John Stossel for having the balls to question the tenets that we often assume hold absolute truth. It absolutely does NOT make ANY sense to encourage the uninformed to vote.

And for the critics, it is NOT against our basic human rights; John's saying that we shouldn't ENCOURAGE, not that we should BAN. It has nothing to do with having ONLY the 'most educated' vote, it's about not encouraging the dumbest people to vote, although they can if they want to.

  • Unless you can buy the office (thx sheeple) with someone else's money (Soros+), then jack off to a picture of yourself in the oval office for four years, to get a PENSION, MEDICAL, & secret service protection forever. Make a lot of sense : ).

  • ooohhh... now I get it. I should have seen it all along, Republicans know best.... they must know that people of the darker skin are not informed enough, and rather than truthfully lay it out there for everybody to see on the mainstream media that they own and control anyways... they figure that just disenfranchising those people takes a lot less time, after all... arent they all lazy anyway

    Beware Dis-Mis-An-This Info

  • john stossel is not a republican you idiot

  • I agree with the man.. Be informed!!! Then vote...voting is important but being informed who your choosing to vote for is MOOORE important.

  • voting WOULD be important if your votes meant something. do you seriously believe that George Bush one the second term? Presidents are puppets for the american corporations. They lay out policies that benefit big business. Obama will bring fascism to America and you people will accept it as protecting your freedom. Bush was simply the poster boy for evil. look at the contrast from Bush to Obama. doesn't it seem a little too good to be true. come on people, wake up to the NWO and the Illuminati

  • For the record. I don't believe that Bush won the first time! But I do believe everything happens the way GOD allows it to happen. I don't feel that there is a conspiracy between the government. I believe that what ever happens is God's Conspiracy. So I am thinking positively for America thinking that Maybe God is smilling on our nation this time since he knows the shit that we've been through the last eight years.. At least give the man a chance! See what he does.

  • I've been saying this for years. Right on.
