Flint must defeat it promptly or it will be scattered by the wind, ending the battle without him gaining the sizable experience for victory. Due to its high defense, this is usually accomplished by the usage of combos.

So they bring over xenoblade but not mother 3? Mother 3 was released in Japan AS the DS was coming out, which would reach America soon, and the developers estimated that it would take a year to translate the entire game as well as send it over to America. 3. Earthbound sold poorly in the US.

@cometofdarkness Actually, that is wrong, Earthbound sold very well in all actuallity. The copyright infridgement thing hasn't bothered any other virtual console games... at all in fact, many of the games breach that stuff so damn much that it is shocking. I love the Mother series...the graphics make it look like a kid's game, but it's so dark and intense. though i'm not sure about Porky completely replacing Giygas.

Distressed Watcher of the TGWTG page once brought up a good point when it came to climactic battles. They don't need to be the peak of all the action in the story. Luke's battle with Vadar in Empire Strikes Back was driven by dialogue. Same here with Lucas and company vs. Porky, the entire time, he's taunting you and gloating about how well his evil plan is going. The battles even end similarly, with no side gaining a true victory. Porky still gets away with what he did, and Luke loses a hand.

CURSE YOU POSSIBLE LAWSUITS! We want this trilogy legally. We cannot experience any of them in English besides the best game ever, EarthBound, legally. And we have to spend about $100 for the game alone, and about $60 for a Super NES to play it on. If it were not for the lawsuits, we would have a bigger fanbase for this awesome trilogy...
Lucky son of a gun. I kind of like the PC emulator feel of playing it. Feels a lot better than having something like a gamecube controller. Maybe that's just me, but I like simply small buttons for games like EarthBound. I would love Mother 3 on 3DS in America :DDDD

I know, yes, but the fanbase has grown tremendously, and NOA knows that.
Over 30,000 signatures from dedicated and loyal fans of the series prove that.
Starmen.net proves that.
And rpgs have grown in popularity in North America since when EB was released.
Back in 1995 most Americans couldn't care less about rpgs, but now they're huge.
It just seems like NOA keeps flipping Mother fans the bird when it comes to North American release of EB 0, Mother 3, or a re-release of EB.

@ZantFan111 Apparently, Shigesato Itoi said that he probably won't make another instalment to the Mother series. However, fans of EarthBound got him working on Mother 3, so maybe fans of Mother 3 could try and convince him to bring it back.

So i'd say Porky's never ending demise suits him best for all of what he has committed. Living in boredom in all eternity without any way of escape; not even death.

@muronomu legal issues aren't "crap". nintendo isn't allowed to release them legally, why can't people just accept that? the reason they are released without a problem in japan is because the game has stuff in it that is possibly copyrighted. copyright isn't as big a deal in japan as it is in america.

Distressed Watcher of the TGWTG page once brought up a good point when it came to climactic battles. They don't need to be the peak of all the action in the story. Luke's battle with Vadar in Empire Strikes Back was driven by dialogue. Same here with Lucas and company vs. Porky, the entire time, he's taunting you and gloating about how well his evil plan is going. The battles even end similarly, with no side gaining a true victory. Porky still gets away with what he did, and Luke loses a hand.

CURSE YOU POSSIBLE LAWSUITS! We want this trilogy legally. We cannot experience any of them in English besides the best game ever, EarthBound, legally. And we have to spend about $100 for the game alone, and about $60 for a Super NES to play it on. If it were not for the lawsuits, we would have a bigger fanbase for this awesome trilogy...

Lucky son of a gun. I kind of like the PC emulator feel of playing it. Feels a lot better than having something like a gamecube controller. Maybe that's just me, but I like simply small buttons for games like EarthBound. I would love Mother 3 on 3DS in America :DDDD
