PS3 and PC, I think the official servers are gone now only it can be online via some sort of apps, I'd say.

the only thing i didnt like about grid was the way the steering wheel inside the cockpit looked fake when you turned the car. it moved way too much! and not enough cars in the game! Thumbs up if you agree! but this game is amazing!

I have a nissan sentra, that I have spent about 4 years and about 18,000 in bodykit work, interior work, getting an RB26DET motor, and building, boring, assembling, balancing. It;s more fun to build it yourself and learn it, then have someone buy it for you.

oh and all you people who say this game is hard, when I bought it, I had a GeForce 7200, which delivered terrible graphics and for some reason I found it completely impossible to complete a full lap without being written off.

but now Ive got a Raeon 4850HD which is the equivilant to a GeForce 9800GTX and my graphics are so good! I have completed the game 4 times, once on basic, normal and serious

so i recently bought DiRT 1 and its shit! the damage, the graphics, the physics, the difficulty and everything is poor.

and its annoying that they hadnt developed the flashback.

(G-Grandstand, O-Overtaking place, P-Pit Lane etc) then if they win the competion - Grid make the track as realistic as they can and realease it in GRID 2? :) <3 i think thats sick!

I've never had a game piss me off as much as this one did. It is by far the most retarded driving game out there. One fucking little clip from another car and youre off the track. Forza Motorsport 3 is claimed to be the definitive racing (simulation) game of this generation (Quote Dan Greenwalt). But then are you saying Grid is a better simulation that Forza? I am both a fan of Codemasters, Turn 10, and Polyphony Digital. But still Grid's aim was not to compete with other simulators, it's semi-arcade. Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo are the franchises that fall into the simulation category. The only thing Grid has more realistic is the damage.

I think GRID can claim to be more realistic in damage and graphics. As far as actual driving and how your car reacts to the road, GRID falls short on realism but so does Forza 3. These 3 elements are probably the most important in capturing realism.

When you examine the rest of Forza 3, the remaining elements are the tracks and the cars. If you consider a simulation merely a spreadsheet, then thats the only way it can claim the title.

The thing is, when a racing game becomes too realistic it gets hard. But maybe some people like that because there are setups are with a steering wheel. But for me i just have a controller so im better off with the "not so realistic" realism in Grid instead of something like Gran tursimo or forza. but they are still awesome games.
