I always love some of the adaptations of the Christmas Carol. Have you ever thought of doing the review of 2001 adaptation of the story with Kate Winslet and Nicolas Cage?
A clip from Sonic 06? I thought it was going to be that scene from "Oldboy" where Oh Dae-Su goes under for a second time hypnosis after learning the truth of why was he locked up in a room for 15 years.
have you ever thought how weird the concept of a christmas carol is? a guy is kind of a douchebag on christmas so three ghosts come to scare the piss out of him until he gets in to the holiday spirit
The ghost of the pasts may change forms because each person has a different past experience with Christmas according to their own lives. Maybe each movie maker wanted to make it represent Christmas for each of them as an easter egg. Like a signature on the movie?
The Ghost of Christmas Future can't be the devils' eyes, but eyes that see into ones' soul. And seeing that it's a Christmas Carol, that makes alot of sense.
I think the reasons Disney released this in early November are: The Polar Express came out that same time and was a huge hit, they didn't want to compete with their own film The Princess and the Frog and they knew that Avatar would take away their 3-D and IMAX screens, so they released Christmas Carol a full month prior.
You know, some time back I was thinking, "oh jeez, not another Christmas Carol adaptation" but this looks really good to see. That's always the trick to it I guess, set it apart.
I remember taking my niece, who is like 4 years old, to see the film. When the Ghost of Yet to come arrived, she was so scared, she hid her face in the seat and said, almost crying "I never want to see this movie again". Despite this, she actually loved the film... I do think there are some times getting scared is a good thing, it makes you more excited than you think. This is one of them.
Hm, well done. VGRetro, I think it was (the guy) was really fun. And the review on the movie was well put together. However, I'm not much of a fan of co-reviewer in the form of the random fan-written Sonic thing.
Anyways, I hope to see this movie soon now. Thanks guys.
I liked the Muppet version, but it's probably because I haven't seen this one yet. I'll see it when I visit my aunt and uncle's.

@ShadowDJ94 Yeah. It's animated. But only the first and last couple of minutes of the film is live action because of Charles Dickens.

You know Huey if you want to see a real scary version of Jacob Marley's ghost try viewing the one from an Austrailian aired version from 1969
