  • Nice ?

  • What is the recipe for making the dough?

  • i want some, just got done eating some

  • Actually a better way is to boil them first before you fry them. You'll use less oil and it'll be completely cooked. :)

  • they're folded like empanadas..

    Thank you for the recipe.

  • is the green stuff weed?

  • This is not called " pot sticker"!!!

Omg.. How can you straightly translate the Chinese word" guo tie" into English that way? it's called chinese dumplings... That title is misleading

  • @katherineXOXO403

Potstickers and Jiaozi/Chinese dumplings are the same thing. There isn't a direct translation.

    /From a Chinese person

  • @kailyn2894

i know that "potstickers" do mean "chinese dumplings "and they're the same thing, but "鍋貼" 's not supposed to be called like that in english

it's like people just typed "鍋貼" into google and translated it into english.

may be there's not a direct translation, but "chinese dumplings" is the right word to say "鍋貼/餃子" in English

    / I'm chinese.

  • oh my gawd! you actually made homemade wrapper! Thank you for sharing this recipe. I love this dish and i make my own 'filling' version but i buy ready made wrapper; i've always wanted to attempt making homemade wrapper but too scared to screw up. Visual instructions really really helps.

  • 我愛鍋貼

  • 从小就爱吃老妈做的韭菜盒子 >.<

  • that is sooo much oil

  • Very good looking food, and excellent video editing. My one suggestion would be to use a different color font against the colored background, as it is difficult to see the words. I did pause the video to read, however, it is a bit distracting to the flow. Otherwise, I love it.

  • i just made these and they're delicious :D

  • In my opinion, you have made the best video of how to make potstickers on you tube!

  • @tonygrrl Thank you so much!!

  • I love watching your videos!

    :-)

  • Can you explain to me the purpose of egg in most of the dishes, I thought it would originally be used as a binding agent, but cooked separately, it look likes a filler to the main dish as whole. I hope my question isn't too 'off'. I just need to know if I can leave the egg out if I wanted to.

  • @angel292005 The cooked eggs that I added was just another ingredient in the filling. The raw egg that I added at the end was added to prevent the filling from being hard and dry when I friend the potstickers. Hopefully this should help! :)

  • @EasyChineseFood Thank you, yes it did. :)

  • @angel292005 eggs are added because they'r nutritious and add a really good taste, but you can remove eggs from the recipe if you want to!

  • OMG!!!! I just asked you about these 2 weeks ago, I am so happy you post this. The fried baozi was great!

  • @prostiedvizhenija Thank you! :) Yeah, I absolutely had to post this up, seeing that the baozi was so popular.

  • Looks great, Thanks! Nice music!
