@jdelira I think you're confused. Dethklok isn't thrash at all, it's death metal. Thrash doesn't use screaming vocals, just look at Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Municipal Waste etc. If you can't understand what they're saying, you might need to get your ears checked.

Pretty sure you're confusing thrash with grindcore.

I picked one up used on Craigslist for $245 No case though.

I liked it so much that I bought the new Epi. Futura Prophecy Explorer which is the same axe except EMG 81/85 pickups and a cool cherry colored curly oak top.

I agree that Ultros is right, both are neck heavy if you use the neck guitar strap where the factory puts it. Moving it up the neck a bit settles the balance, but then becomes a hazard to getting to the highest frets.

Still, easily the best shred guitar of all time!

I've owned that guitar for 6 years at least. It's been my only real guitar I've played. Only difference is I swapped the pickups out for EMGs years ago. I also had a bone nut installed because I busted the original nut. Besides that.  I love the guitar. It's been through getting dropped and shit and still works amazingly. I highly recommend you get it. I'll probably get another Explorer in the coming year or so.

well right now, this is the only electric guitar i have. used to have a epiphone special 2 and a squier strat. in comparison to the other guitars, i get a more stable sound from the explorer, and it's also loud as hell xD

i kno that this guitar doesnt have inlays but, does it have markers at the edge of the neck, like not on the fret board but like little dots on the top edge so you can still see where you are?

you can buy really nice inlay sets for 10-40 dollars...do a quick web search and you will find many sites...you just stick them on and they look great! i'm thinking of getting this guitar and will definitely be adding a set of inlays if i get it!

I have the gothic flying v which doesn't have inlays, just use the dots on the side of the neck. It's good practise =P
