  • TOO FAST!!!!

  • If Solfeggietto is played under 1 min and 3 it's not the right tempo. It's ok to change tempo sometimes but with Solfeggietto it just doesn't sound good if it's too fast. imo.

  • NO PEDAL

  • @majorolu16 you are right! :)

    Bach = NO PEDAL!! :((

Bach didn't have a foot pedal he could use, so there is the rule that if you play Bach you don't use the pedal... he played everything without pedal and still very well!

-> I don't like this video. I'd play it slower, but therefore without pedal, without cheating.. ;)

  • I can play this song....not as well ad her but I can and I'm only 10...I could when I was 9....don't hate on me....I think this was just slightly to fast. She plays really well though!!

  • jeeez its suppose to be fast but not that fast...its not a friggin race

  • I almost fell asleep... Too slow

  • The tempo says to play it at "Prestissimo", which is the absolute fastest tempo for music. So stop saying it's too fast!

  • very nice, it was a little faster than it should be but not by much. its a fun song to play :)

  • orgasm for my ear

  • RAPIDO FASTER

  • toooooooo fast

  • Hello, I am an accomlished musician. My comment is that music can be presented in many ways. In this case, it is more of an exhibition than an artistic presentation but was no less entertaining to me; just in a different way. The purpose is to exhibit this person's interpretation. How many times have you heard remakes in different keys, genres, instrumentation, gender, time signatures, etc? Well, tempo is no different. This is how "she" wanted to present. You either like it or you don't.

  • @Supraawill1 I agree and sort of disagree with your statement. Interpretation SHOULD be unique and original. Yes, if everyone played it the same way then what's the merit in looking for other performances. It's like comparing the way Yundi Lee and Valentina Lisitsa play. They have their original way of interpreting the piece. Using decrescendo, ritardando, etc.. are methods of interpretation, however, playing an entire piece 1.5x the speed of the original tempo is a little questionable, isn't it

  • @xXSherviNXx lol, yes, it's been 5 months since I listened to this piece so I had to re -aquaint myself with the performance. I agree that the tempo is questionable. It is taken outside of the perspective of art and into a showboat mentality, but that is just yet another view of presentation, although a more competitive nature. It definitely invokes the "wow" factor but lacks the finese. I do have to say though that if the average ear was geared to this speed, there's still a flow.

  • @SubtleExtremes Yea. I was actually pretty shocked to see a 16 yr old girl playing it at that tempo. It's honestly very impressive. In fact, I even play it just as fast or even a little faster in front of my friends to "show off" a little. It's good as long as you it doesn't lack in dynamics and the "flow" you mentioned. But if she had to play it at an RCM exam or a formal concert she should slow down a little. I don't see the reason why people would dislike this just because of the speed though

  • its fast yeah but I didnt get any emotion...

  • My fingers cannot possibly move that fast

  • W.....O.........W what the hell am I supposed to be when it's played at that speed!!!! I am playing it so long yet I can't even properly play near that thunder speed.... T.T

  • bravo!!!!!!! how long have you been playing piano? very impressive :)

  • oh lord this is freaking amazingg:))) niceeeeee jobbbbbb:)) ♥♥♥

  • übertreiben kann man auch.. das find ich schon nich mehr schön..

  • That's seriously fast. I think it should be played it a bit slower, because it sounds like you're rushing things. But still, how can those fingers fly so fast?

  • really because if you really appreciate music(speaking to below ) youd see most of the emotion already in this

  • there'd be no emotion if you play it fast, or slow! so it doesn't matter!

  • Okay, this song is a showpiece. It was meant to show off the skill of the performer, and the speed at which this song is played it clearly does that. The tempo is just fine.

  • it's amazing how she can play it so fast but i prefer it being played a little slower, otherwise there's no feeling anymore.. just speed.

  • pretty sure you fast forward this...

  • To fast, there's no emotions more !

  • A bit too fast as others have said. Which is a shame as you clearly are really good.

  • Great playing. I always had the same issue with speed in the past, fast fingers can be hard to contro;. You sounded great though.

  • I never thought id say this, but, your playing it too fast, which demonstrates your skill, good job

  • Personnally I didn t like it. first of all it was too fast that you can t hear the melody and I m sure that the girl must have been very nervous that moment

  • You play it extremely well, but in the version I have, the tempo is written as 'presto non troppo'... To me, this is definitely 'troppo'!

  • real mistake!!

  • Where is the ending? You left off the descending line...

  • to jumbled up...tooo tooo fast...

  • I think people shouldnt play it fast for a performance unless they are really good cause fast is easy to make mistakes.

  • Holy crap that was fast. I only ever played it that fast in practice to amuse myself. I suppose if that's the way you feel it, you should play it that fast, but it was too much for my taste. I'd say about 20% slower would be ideal.

  • it is too fast sorry but i dont like it that way

  • i know its supposed to be fast but this is too fast but still great job

  • DAMN

  • I know you're an awesome piano player, but not every song sounds quickly played good.

You shouldn't play it like a piano- machine.

But in 2 years you can earn a lot of experiences, I'm looking forward for new videos from you :)

  • Where is your seat belt?

  • @hereinweymouth i know. if she crashes shes dead!

  • @hereinweymouth lol, i like your style.

  • really great, its played abit to fast. but its your interpretation !

    either way im amazed!

  • way too fast, it sounded too strumming and blurred.

  • I have a slower version on this piece on my chanel. I play it myself. Tell me what you think. I don't think it's very good because of the tempo, but when I play it, it just seems to want to be played a little slower at some points and little faster at others. Or maybe I just don't know how to play it very well. But, tell me what you think anyway.

  • You're amazing. Although it was supposed to be played slower, it sounded good anyway.

  • way too fast

you can't make up the music

    :(

  • absolutly amazing but it looks like she has small hands but omg she is good im so jelious. im learning it at that speed and im no were near as good lol :D

  • *speechless*

  • omg she totaly ruined that song ='( way to fast, so fast u fucked up play slower!!!!

  • the speed at which was played was very commendable. i will have to agree with the others this piece wasn't intended to be played as fast as it was, especially when it causes mistakes.

  • Amazing job... that performance was truly beyond words. And at the tempo you played at your accuracy was amazing. You're very gifted.

  • Hey OzkProductions, do you like belittling someone playing piano? Does it have to be perfect to satisfy your petty needs? Go get a life. The ending that you say was forgotten is not in the original score. Why don't you keep your thoughts to yourself. She did a great job.

  • i play this piece and this was done pretty baddd

    no articulation or pace

    rushed and no good dynamics

    also forgot the ending

  • learn

    how

    to

    spell

  • LOL i paid his mom 25 cents. she was so thankful.

  • there's no 'ending' in the original version, the cadence is optional in this piece.

  • i can play it at that speed:P

  • too fast...

  • no, that's its intended pace. great job!!

  • Dude, its not its intened pace, i have played that song, and its meant to be played at around 140bpm, that was way to fast. Cool to show off at that speed though...

  • nikel =O mais il y a beaucoup de fausses notes ^^

  • Wow! that was really good. But I just wish that I could see some people play it with one hand the way it was composed,

  • How in the world do you play that with one freaking hand? Are you on crack?

  • yea, it is this fast, lol. very nice.

  • hardly distinguishable at that speed

  • grossssssss

  • its a lot of fun to play it that fast but for listenig it is too fast....but well done

  • you just ruined one of the best songs in the world I hope your happy show off! (n)

  • wtf is with ppl saying 'it should be played slower'

it should be played any way the person wants to play it. how boring would it be if everyone played it the same way? open ur minds losers.

  • @YuTubeWeTube Yeah fair enough but a slower tempo would have meant less chance of making as many mistakes as she did.

  • @YuTubeWeTube i totallyy agree withh youuu

  • @YuTubeWeTube Are you insane? This piece was written to be played at a specific speed, and you'd know that if you knew what time signatures were.

  • @gustoman001 it may have been written to be played at a specific speed but music without individual interpretation is simply pointless there are no boundrys in music only guidelines and to be honest if you stick to the guidelines the whole time you just become dull and unoriginal. Play somthing how you want to because you want to not because someone intended you to.

  • @VanargrandsEnd No. There is improvisation, and then there's an unofficial contest to see who can play this the fastest. Ther are not the same thing.

When Bach wrote this, he had it set to something called a "Tempo", which is used to tell how fast the song goes, which you obviously haven't taken into account.

No one cares if you can play something the fastest, people care if something sounds like actual music.

  • @gustoman001

Lol why do you assume i dont know what tempo means? Seriously youve already assumed you have much more musical knowledge and have more technical skills on an instrument then me.

Tempos can be changed especially in the varying editions of solfeffietto or anyother piece for that matter. Tempo is how the composer wanted their song to be played but you dont physically have to follow it. Look at Art Tatum do you think he followed the prescribed tempo?

  • @YuTubeWeTube And who the fuck are you to call people losers ? Are you a real musician ? Don't you see that when a piece is played too fast it loses the subtleties ? What I've just seen is like thrown away to the audience, like there's no pleasure in playing it, like "the faster, the better"... Now, keep telling us (including me) that we are losers. But you, you are tasteless.

  • @YuTubeWeTube well it would sure be nice to hear the beautiful piece as it was intended and not as a selfish high speed self esteem booster. this song is absolutely beautiful slower, it's all meshed together when its that fast and you cant hear what the composer was trying to say.

  • when showing off goes bad.

  • Incredible :D

  • Too fast and the fun is sort of spoiled

  • it is supposed to go this fast, i played it last year.

  • i played this when i was 10 at my piano recital.

    it should go slower. definitely.

  • you do have an awesome technique but I'm going to have to agree with indigoblue555. I'm pretty sure your suppose to play it just a bit more slower.

  • She doesn't have a clue what she's playing =

    and her teacher too=

  • This video is amazing. This girls got some insane talent!
