I was driving round that track at the age of 4 on a car-battery-powered la'l train he built. I learned to drive the steam ones by the time i was 6. Even ventured to Sunderland now and again for the competitions. Good times =) i miss my granda. True legend

I know someone who has built a 5" vaginia but had never been steamed, needs painting but the tender is built for the driver do you think it is too close?

Hi, Why does it not have a driver. I drive

3 1/2" 5" and 7 1/4" locos mainly. Is it a Virginia?

Yes it is a 5" gauge 'Virginia built over 50 years ago and restored by Ken Ellwood. The driverless shots where for photographic purposes.
