You know, the day after I posted my comment, I saw Ar Tonelico 1 in mint condition used at my local Gamestop. Then I noticed the graphics and went "FUCK, that's what this is!" And my g/f convinced me to drop $30 on it.
...Despite the fact I no longer have a PS2...
I greatly appreciate the feedback, though!

it's worth the $30. 1 and 2 are both great games. 2 just has some glitches that NISA's QA let slip through, though, unfortunately.
Awesome, so all special attacks get cutscenes
