@PREDALIENPLUSH2 It's not connected in any way with the 1998 movie. Furthermore, the movie is being made by a different company, Legendary Pictures, and if the new Batman/Watchmen/300 movies are any indication, I'd say that respecting the source material is one of their primary rules.
