I don't like that this BBC production has a host of African heritage referring to the Egyptians as though they are not African.This perpetuates lies and confusion and strips Africans of their intellectual prowess. Start listening around 9 mins and the suggestion becomes obvious.

The builders of the pyramids however hard to fathom this may be for some, were unarguably built by black Africans not genetically dissimilar to Nubians. The forefathers of the Egyptian Empire were African.

Egypt is another distinct AFRICAN culture. Its useful to understand that when talking about Egypt in contrast to Nubia, you are talking about two different nations, NOT races of people --just as Germans and Austrians are separate distinct states, yet share the same racial classifications -largely!
