It's highly fitting that Mamet entitled his book (although publishers and marketers generally invent titles) "The Secret Knowledge" since leftism is essentially the heretical Christianity known as "gnosticism." Secular humanism is a misnomer, since leftism is anti-human (in theory and effect). Mamet has lost all credibility for me. Especially when he talks about judging the motivations of Christians. Judge people by their actions, not by what they say. Christians have waged war more than any other people. The far right are the worst when it comes to casting aspersions, discrediting people.
