Our leaders say Iran has the ability of making the material for making a nuclear weapon, which is highly enriched uranium. Since the US is interested in Iran not obtaining nuclear weapons, the fact that US has not attack Iran yet suggests that Iran does not have them yet if they were seeking to have them. Therefore, your argument lacks credibility.

@superdarthrevan To have the chain reaction needed for a bomb, you need highly enriched uranium with a high ratio of the reactive isotope. Nuclear reactors grade uranium has much less amount of this reactive isotope per mass. Bombs can be made from reactor grade uranium if enriched to reach the critical mass. Several countries posses enough reactor grade uranium and could enrich it and make a bomb, but it takes long enough for other countries to detect it and intervene. Make your conclusions.
