  • Haha! What a toe-tapper, what with the hot banjo and all. Very fun vocal backups! Is a Goofus another name for a Kazoo?

  • @75capriceconvertible Thanks! A goofus is somewhat different from a kazoo, but similar in sound--I've never seen one, but worked with quite a few!

  • @VictrolaJazz & @75capriceconvertible - A goofus or Couesnophone is like a keyboard harmonica or melodica, whereas the kazoo-like effect here might just be some paper cone or comb-and-paper to affect Rollini's voice [or whoever is doing that solo].

  • @MrXnews2 What an interesting insight! The things they did in those wonderful days before there were any kinds of rules--just whatever felt or sounded good!

  • @13421JLUJ You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Moreover, these sides aren't available on Red Hot site. So, if you own more, don't hesitate to upload. Thanks in advance.

  • @poutitechatte Thanks! I certainly would, but this is it!

  • Refreshing , and fun Jazz, great!

  • @rordorica Thanks! Now...I'm satisfied!

  • What a coincidence! I was listening to the Edison dance band rendition of the song over the weekend.

  • @EdisonSquirrel That must mean something! Thanks!

  • Such Fun! Love that Jazzy Gennett !

  • @foxtrotgin Gennett's are always a treat! Never heard one I didn't like! Can't say that about Victor or Brunswick!
