It's complicated, but maybe I think the majority of the reason would be that (a) I'm motivated to find new titles that I'll enjoy, and (b) packrat tendencies.

I've heard they should be. In practice, I don't have the kind of space in my room to have 2500+ anime DVDs stored that way. :)
