  • I see I am not alone in idolizing Art Van Damme. I was fortunate to see him in person in a club in Falls Church, Va back in 1979. In my youth I used to play and teach accordion out in California.

  • Thank you. I remember Art Van Damme from the 60's when I was studying accordion. He was my favorite. He played in NY at the 1964 Worlds Fair.

  • I've been a fan of Art's playing since I was a teen in the late 70s. I thought he was old then. I just decided to search his name a few mins. ago and here he is. I've very excited to see this and to realize he's still alive. Please post more, something where he really cuts loose.
