It is plain to see how Madness have evolved. They seem to have matured so well. There is a clear distinction between early Madness and late Madness but somehow the fundamental signature is still there and it is unmistakably Madness. They're a genius band. Their early songs were perfect: arrangment, acting, musical ability, character and continuity, and their evolution is a further example of such cleverness. Other bands are an embarrassment (see what I did there?) as they evolve, but not Madness
