  • hey k9..have you been able to locate any video clips from Dianne's 76 Olympic performance? Especially the long program, I remember it well, and how the american judge scored her sooo low! all the judges gave her 5.8's, 5.9's, but the american judge gave her a 5.2 ! ridiculous! I'd love to see her performance again..let me know

  • I remember skating on the same practice ice with her at times,with my partner Deanna Stone. She was a delight to watch, I think her coach at that time was Doug Chapman? Artic Blades FSC. Thank you for sharing this video. M.B.

  • Hey Kounting6, My name is Michael Bowers. I grew up with Vicki Heasley, she lived across the street from me. I skated alot at West Covina, But was a member of Artic Blades. Deanna Stone and I won 1976 Interclub, Bronze Dance that year. Our coach was Darlene Dyer.

  • ard Schenk was a famous Dutch speed skater from the 1972 Olympics......hans brinker is a character from a famous childrens book.....i thought it was dutch, but it may be american, I will investigate!!!

  • hans Brinker got me started in this sport, some 50 or more years ago!! I hope to come skate on a canal in Holland some day.....How is Ard Schenk doing these days??
