A really awesome spot treatment that I use is the Clean & Clear persa-gel. It has 10% benzoyl peroxide, which I think is one of the highest percentages you can find in a drugstore.

@CrackersGanza my skins the same way, my acne would be on my cheeks then when i used to use topical treatments all over my my face my cheeks would clear and then i'd have bumps all over my forehead :( now i just use it on my cheeks and skip my forehead lol but not everyone can do that i know. i'm just sayn' :) maybe you could try that too.

There are products that can clear your breakouts completly. You just have to find the right kind by going to your Dermatologist and use it every day for atleast 4 months and your skin WILL clear. The first week or month you start to use the skin product your skin might not be getting any better (or it might look worse) but you just have to be patient with it. My mom's a Dermatologist

i have extremely acne prone skin as well. i find that zinc supplements really help to lessen my breakouts and even if i do breakout thesedays due to stress or hormones then it doesnt take long to clear up.

@erahi -I just received my clean start kit in the mail and it is a scam. What QueenBeeuty and Allthatglitters21 are showing in their videos are full size products. When you click on their link in the description box it brings you to the website where you can click on the link that says "see what is in the kit". There it also shows full size products. I just received sample sizes(0.5)oz. Dermologica said these 2 girls are not affiliated with them at all. They are all LIARS. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

@YeNnieMEow Well eating tons of junk food will take it's toll on your entire body, including the skin. But acne is not related to the foods you eat. Research it. I went to school for this & I work in the skin care field. Of course if your eating greasy foods & that grease gets on your face, it could cause a breakout, but eating some peanuts is not going to cause your face to turn into a giant mess. Genetics, environmental factors, & skin care routine determine your skin.

Food has nothing to do with acne. It's genetics, environmental factors & how well you take care of your skin. Drinking tons of water, exercising & washing your face regularly will help. Make sure you ALWAYS use a toner and/or moisturizer after cleaning to make sure you return your skin to it's proper pH level. Which is a 4.5 acidic. Leaving it dry opens it to infection & too much oil production. Hope this helps!

@MissNikki57 I disagree, some food DOES effect your skin and break them out. Just because one don't get break out from one type of food doesn't means everyone don't. For example, if I eat a lot of peanuts or fried food, I break out and get HUGE pimple on my face. And I do wash & moisturize my face every day & night. I'm not saying every one will, but food does effect people's skin in different degree :]

Just to take your mind off things, sugary products/chocolate do not produce acne. That piece of info coming straight from doctors. I more than triple checked. So yay for that! A healthier diet does produce better skin, but it's not related to acne.

a little quick fix overnight that helps me.. put a little toothpaste on the pimple! and it has to be plain old paste! not gel kind or any special kinds. just get plain ol fashioned toothpaste.. crest works for me! the toothpaste has ingredients that dry out the pimple while you sleep!

Hey... when I was wearing the wrong foundation, I broke out really bad... so you should try around to get the right one that suits your skin. Otherwise it doesnt really matter what you use for skin care, cuz your makeup will still clog your skin / ur skin will be allergic to the ingredients and break out.
