i havent heard this song since my dad died three years ago then in the car today on the way home it came on and i sang it even though i couldnt remember it.
I've had to go through a lot of traumatic events as a child growing up and I randomly found this song and it's actually a really nice song with a great message...I especially like the part where it says "we love you all the same.." ..powerful song. Helps me a lot.
This reminds me of my friend and I. At my school people avoid us like the plague because we see things differently than they do and dress differently. They call us things like "emo" and "goth" when in reality we just like wearing colors that are more toned down than usual and think that society is a little messed up.

Well I tend to over-think things and then I have like really strong emotional feelings for a lot of the things that I think about. Which is kind of bad b/c then if something is really bothering me, I kind of block it out - that's a piece of memory that will be gone...
When I look back into my life, there's only bits and pieces of it b/c I only remember the less distressing moments.
But I do have a pretty normal life I think. I guess I'm just that emotional? I'm like controlling it now though.
