@MrYellowmattercustar Planet Earth, is a finite system so has certain carrying capacity beyond which its capacity to provide to the needs of its population diminishes, undermining the health & security of all those dependent upon it. The more sustainable we become the more ppl the planet can support. This is where we have to start to become responsible for our own population levels. This isn't about 'evil forces' its more about common sense enabling those that follow us to have a healthy future
@MrYellowmattercustar, Thanks for your feedback. Population growth should align with the capacity of the world (including technological advances) to support the population's fundamental human needs. If we are able to create sustainable systems that enable population growth trends to continue then great. If not then the challenge is that we will have further human suffering that is a result of our planet not having the capacity to support the humans it hosts. It's up to us to create the solutions
Sustainable development focuses on utilising the skills and knowledge of all people, as they are the experts and implementers of systems and behaviours that align with sustainability at a local level & global. This gives greater input and democracy to help people understand collectively what is important to them in terms of their environment, how the organisations they engage with meet the needs of society &the environment.
@eccemarco instead of 'spreading' it, how about re-watch it and implement it into your own life. what you do with yourself is more impactful than 'passing the joint around'
@aznmaplemaster thank you very much for your remark! It is indeed a good advice to "do it yourself" and in fact I am doing it already. I am gaining a lot of satisfaction from teaching strategic sustainable development and providing learning space in a year of study at a masters programme in strategic sustainable development. Best, M.

@MrYellowmattercustar how did you come to the conclusion of "global governance" or "population reduction"?
there's many alternative solutions, be creative

It is a really well crafted video that gives a short and concise intro. Good work, I will spread it!
