@MrHellohel Generally if a mattress ends up in the back of a truck it will end up in a landfill, but I believe in the region where I shot this, everything is taking to a special sorting area to recover certain waste streams which may include mattresses. It is a shame seeing mattresses going to waste when they can be re-used or pulled apart to recover springs/timber frames.

I can't argue about the "flexing" at the end with that wooden item - it's just because of the angle the blade opens at. I reckon a 2R could've ripped through it with the size of it's packer cylinders!!!
its all right for you there is plenty off open back rear loaders in your area i can onley think of one rear loader in my area nwdc open back phonix well i spose relly rear skip loaders is well there is one that i see the veiola powepress faun
Unfortunately doubt I will, the place they tip this is very strict on videoing, then there's just the work of getting in the facility at all. I could probably get the same sized truck unloading greens if that'd satisfy you?? :D

Wow, I am finding the same thing here!
I really don't know what the big deal is about shooting a load of crushed garbage but the waste companies seem to have all gone freakin nuts!
Most of the drivers here even get pissed if we try to video their truck compacting and some of them try to make a federal case out of it!
I remember not long ago when our hauler would let me ride along and save stuff and even took me to the dump when I was young.
Used to be so cool, insane how stupid the world is now!
