Yep. That is the story of British imperialism all right. I love English studies. I am majoring in English in college. But I do see much sadness from the Irish because their collective Irish experience always leads them to a self-actualization of who they ARE as a people. The unification of Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England is definitely a concern because the English experience of Brittania tends to put down the spirit of the rest. Sad song. Sexy singer.
