I remember playing this on Playstation when I was a kid, the levels look so much better on PC i didn't actually recognize any of level until about 8 minutes into the video. I still loved it though.

The music is recorded in CD audio format so if you disable the audio from your optical drive you won't hear it. The music was written and performed by Rob Zombie, I think and it is great!

What I don't understand, is how it went from (in Quake 1) being seemingly on Earth and there were no spaceships and stuff, to being on Mars with a whole enemy base like thingy and a bunch of ships.

Heh, included on the 360 version of Quake 4, or for $11 get the DVD Version of Quake 4 on amazon, which includes Quake 2 and both of it's expansions.

Quake 4 is pretty good, and getting Quake 2 and both of it's expansions as well as Quake 4 and some bonuses for $11 is a great deal.

@LambdaPaxton12 because story telling is definatly the most importent aspect of quake. truely none of us played quake to shoot stuff we played it to expirence a touching look at the human endevour the touching scene when he shot that guy or the beutiful part were he blew up that other guy was the most touching moments in gaming. /sarcasm

i like the xbox 360 version of quake 2 but there wasn't any intro which sucks, you can find it on the quake 4 bonus disc
