  • i just found a centrifugal pump like that in the woods at my grandparents i cleaned it up got it working and my Briggs FH seems to run it real well even just idaling along

  • i cant wait untill i finally get my BKN running. i think i have the timing pretty close but i am not 100% sure yet. still cant find the timing mark on the cam gear. once i get that sorted out i need to get a proper carb for it and make up a fuel line. then i have to clean the really nasty crap out of the crank case. i'll probably flush it out with kerosene for now then change the oil a couple times. but i love the huge flat belt pulley it has on it!

  • awesoem vid jimmy i was there man i love that place but i didnt see your water pump though

i gotta a vide of a the saw mill coming soon

  • diesel is better caterlllar diesel

  • what is this accomplishing?

  • Awesome I love those display things! I got video of some on my fonda fair vid

  • nice display. i have old piston pumps. i hope to find one like that some day!

  • I am trying to get a piston pump to mount my Briggs FH on. I think that would look good and preform well. Thanks for the comment.

  • i have 2 early goulds piston pumps! one is slightly bigger. they both work really well. the smaller one i restored bright red and i run it with the briggs wi and some times the fh. the fh doesnt run it quite as well because the smaller pump is a high speed pump. but it runs the bigger pump great. it is not a high speed model. the fh revs lower than the wi but both are 1/2hp engines! i love to hear the fh work!

  • I have yet to hear my FH run. I'm still working on it (no spark, low compression). I can't wait!

  • there good running little engines. heavy little suckers!

  • i just had my fh running tonight. it has been sitting for over a month and started in 3 kicks! ill hook up my restored pump soon so you can see!

  • Dang! You've got a good engine. I cant wait to see it!

  • does it run yet?

  • Naw, still working on the coil and waiting for the piston rings.

  • i wish you luck! did you see the 2 antique pump vids i have posted so far!

  • Yup, and they're awesome! I just got a piston pump yesterday. I'll try to upload it soon.

  • what kind is it? i just found an old brass roller pump at my grandmas last week! i hooked it up to a westinghouse motor i hag lyingaround and found it works exelent! it moves mor water than it looks capable of! more than my red piston pump anways and it is not even a quarter of the size! ill have to post it!

  • Well, I'm not sure what kind it is. Its thoroughly rusted. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
