i am a freshman that started varsity and just got done with weight training sqauting 315 and felt like i wanted to give up....but i guess pain is temporary
Soccer is my life. I have played since I was young and have always planned on it being in my life. After 3 knee surgeries and doctors and therapists telling me I was done my plans ended my freshmen year of college. I am back and played in my first game in 2 years because of hard work and determination and videos like this help remind me why I work hard and why I am where I am. If you need a pick me up listen to this and How Bad Do You Want It? and apply it to your life. You make your own future.
Pain is temporary, it may last for a minute, hour or a day or even a year! but eventually it will subside, and something else will take its place, if i quit however it will last forever!
@Amitmaharaj84 Same for me here, writing this comments cryin', I don't like my life too ;) i thank ALLAH for the good health the good body & MY PARENTS, but still I didn't reach & succed & arrive to my goals.. those goals when I was child :) but I DON'T GIVE A FUCK now I've more/other dreams & I'm trying hard this time to beat this life! to become a Great BOXER maybe :) hope best of luck for me!

I was diagnosed with testicular cancer last year on June 14, 2011. I am 16 years old. I thought it would be an easy process, but after going through 9 sessions of chemo, I realize others have it a lot worse than I did. I am going back to the hospital for removal of my lymph nodes, and I'm just gonna play this until March 27th. I turn 17 ten days before. This is exactly what I needed.
Good luck young man,my wife is 33 me to but we went trough her beating cancer 2 times and she has glocoma something that is rare till old age and you can go blind. The 1 cancer was melinoma in her eye and she had to have it removed, all this by 26 years old. Then a doctor said she could not ever have children, and she did not want to marrie me as she did not think it was fair for me.I told her bif we can't have children I'll never have any.We before having her womb removed like this doctor wanted -

i listen to this everyday, reminds what i am fighting for and training for every gym session, every tough cardio session, every obstacle that gets placed in my way and every obstacle i find a way through, i have my eyes on the prize, that thing i want most of all. thanks for putting this video up and reminding me what i want.
Can someone please tell me the title of the song? This is a great video, I plan to watch it every day to remind that all of the pain I've faced is temporary because I didn't give up on myself and this motivates me to better myself for a better life. Thank You, for the inspiring words that have helped me so much.
I have a permanently dislocated elbow, but I love wrestling. This year was my freshman year and I was able to make varsity. Before regionals I tore the tendons in the same elbow. They told me I wouldn't wrestle again. After seeing this video I have been training harder than I ever had and am expected to to come back and wrestle next year. PAIN IS TEMPORARY!
@4185tigers hey man, I had the same thing happen just after my freshman season. shattered my ulna and now have a screw and a few anchors in there. I was practicing wrestling even while i was casted up. Started y freshman year, placed 3rd at state senior year, last year. How about you do me one or two up
My first football game freshman year I completly broke my ankle. I was told I might never play the game again, so I sat on my ass all year. I saw this video, got up, and began training again. By the start of Sophomore year, I started varsity.
10th grade- I just lost my quarterfinals in wrestling for states and I gave it 100% to get there. Just because I lost doesn't mean its over. Wrestling never stops and this video will help me get back into states next year
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
@XboxIsAHobbieForHobo my cuz died yesterday he got shoot,ya know i live in the hood.I want out so bad, tired of these people dying i need somthing better in my life,i miss my dawg so bad he was closer to me than anyone eles we both gotta be strong bruh its a fucked up world but you gotta keep up

@51carnage no im really sorry to say but you probably wont make it in track again. i am honestly truly sorry to tell you that you just weren't born with the potential to be great in track. you may love track but track may not love you, thats just how life is
@51carnage i had surgery on both my shoulders a month before track started. I run varsity sprints and i'm just hoping i will be able to run this year (and stay on varsity) even though it'll hurt like heck. sorry to hear man, you'll see the track again no doubt.
When you feel and really experience the pain, you know right then what you don't want. And that is the best time in the world to lift yourself up and declair what you do want! That is when your DREAM becomes super clear! Allow yourself to "Go for it!"
this video reminds me exactly what my dad would tell me whenever i felt like giving up...... love you dad. i wished i had listened and sorry for being a brat. ill make you proud one day and i wont give up like you want me to
@SrgtBarney I know that just by writing this message you made your dad smile and happy. We all make mistakes, we all grow, and your dad knows that this is the process of life for you and I know that today he is very proud of you! Keep strong brother
my father always told me dont go home in pain be a man show them what we got, show them you are tough, show you are better and beat them.thats how you be free.
@Millington43 because you decide that. if u want to become a strong man/woman.then decide that to. this video is made to inspire but you are the only one to control your outcome and results at the end of the day.
(continue) I know how it is i know where they come from, and heres how you gotta think about it, teenage life, adult life, ANY life..... is going to be hard, and theres nothing we can do about it except live it out, because thats just, Life.
(continue) the teenage life isnt always all flowers and sunshine, we all strugle with times we are given in life. some harder times than others, but for any ONE person, to say the teenage life ISNT hard for another indivisuals life, they are wrong.. they are wrong because they werent there, they werent there to see WHY there life is or was, hard. im not gonna speak on behalf of every teenage life out there, because i dont have to.
teenage years for some are harder then others, for the kids who didnt have rich parents, or good parents, or even a good family. for some of us, we go through the hard times with a good, poor family. we stay strong, not for our family but for us. for some of us becoming an adult is becoming a FREE human being, to not get hit for no reason at all, to get a job and feel good about where the money comes from rather than stealing it outa the old womans purse outside.
@rareboy13 I feel ya man, im in that life and some people don't seem to understand that they be picking on us and shit, but in the end we become successful and go from the bottom to the top.
@rareboy13 man if you think kids with money dont got problems your outta your tree and if you thinking making bank is gunna make that poor kid happy you just cut that tree down, he'll be alright for a while but shit will catch up to him eventually
@marrocco911 you gotta read the rest of my comments to understand where im coming from.. in the last one i said i dont care who you are.. EVERYONE in there life is gonna have problems and struggle, meaning the rich as well.. cause i know they got problems too, everyone does. just gotta surpass those proble,s and become a better person, for yourself.
and all your trying to do is help them out..being ashamed of having to be put on well fare..getting fucked with buy people at school...making stupid mistakes and joining a gang.. being shot andlying in a hospital thinking about your family..and while your in there you cant help so there is even less than before.....come take a walk in my shoes and tell me teenage years arent hard and were just spoiled brats....and tell me i havent had to work for nothing....tell me my life is an easy walk
ok great video...all yall need to get off coolneo2000..first off he didnt say it is the hardest times he said ONE of the hardest times...and im asuming alot of yall were privlaged ass a teen....teenage years can be tough especially if your fam dosent have much, you have to work to help support your famiyl, tou dont have much money so you have to live in a bad neighborhood and you cant do anything about it...so you have work to help support your single mother and the other 8 people living with u
i was in the football team...they cut me from it yesterday.. because i have a 1.2 GPA but you
what? i love football its a inspiritional sport so ima be motivated to get my 2.0 GPA so i can play with my team... PEOPLE IF YOU WORK HARD YOU CAN HAVE WHATEVER IT IS YOU WANT.... so thank you for this video really good.
@Boobstar Relax, he said it's ONE of the hardest times in a person's life. He isn't looking for a fight so stop trolling and enjoy the video. It's people like you that ruin YouTube.
who the fuck would dislike this... it's so unbelievably true, there are so many useless dickweed teenagers out there. If only i thought this way when i was a youngin, my life would be a whole lot more exciting and i wouldn't care how people treat me because i'd be doing the best to my own personal potential.
@TomeksFame I like the message behind the message, I hate that they took a great message and tainted it with sports figures. This is what we have taught our children and it is a crime. We have taught them that these are heros when they are not. We see heros everyday and choose to ignore them because they are not getting payed millions for their deeds, that is our crime and a crime that we are paying for now and needs to stop. Start today and thank a real hero today. Thanks Dad I miss you always
my boxing coach told me this it was so inspiring to me i fought through the pain now i won the golden gloves 3 times and i have this speach to thank...
I wish I could live my hard teenage life again, drinking my ass out in the week and weekend, playing videogame, going to school, banging my ex and leave my grown up easy life working, training and studying. Today, in 24 hours I spend 16 out. I miss my old hard life lol
for everyone saying its easy being a teenager let me tell u its not. this is coming from a 27 year old man from.ny. i been through more hell before the age of 18 then most people go through in a lifetime. i grew up rough and the way things are now i can only imagine how hard it is for them now. im not saying every kid has it rough but dont judge if u dont know. obviously. those saying its easy grew up with everything. given to them. pain is temporary though, im a living testament to that.
being a man doesnt mean you live by yourself. im 19 i pay for everything, food, everything, for myself but i live with my sister. now me just leaving right now wouldnt lable me a man. that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. i pay for rent too. i work for everything. but just because i dont have my own place it doesnt make me a man. get out of here!
@CMT3224 You know what, I say good for you. Personal responsibility is definately a step toward manhood, and I agree living on your own does not make you a man. It may also be a step, but not the end. If you REALLY want to know the path to manhood, then is suggest reading Wild at Heart by John Eldridge and his companion book Way of the Wild Heart. IT is by men for men, and it celebrates our strength. I recommend it for ALL men, for we all have growth to achieve. God Bless You and your family.
@TheThommeee it will subside. Man, life is like a roller coaster. It has it's ups and downs. The time you're going down you think it's scary and you just want to be somewhere else. But eventually, when you look back. The downs where the most thrilling, the downs are what made you. I would like to leave you with a quote from my favorite band:
who is this guy talking? Ive heard him on some other motivational videos. Is this like part of a movie or something.

(continue) I know how it is i know where they come from, and heres how you gotta think about it, teenage life, adult life, ANY life..... is going to be hard, and theres nothing we can do about it except live it out, because thats just, Life.
rareboy13 5 days ago
(continue) the teenage life isnt always all flowers and sunshine, we all strugle with times we are given in life. some harder times than others, but for any ONE person, to say the teenage life ISNT hard for another indivisuals life, they are wrong.. they are wrong because they werent there, they werent there to see WHY there life is or was, hard. im not gonna speak on behalf of every teenage life out there, because i dont have to.
rareboy13 5 days ago
teenage years for some are harder then others, for the kids who didnt have rich parents, or good parents, or even a good family. for some of us, we go through the hard times with a good, poor family. we stay strong, not for our family but for us. for some of us becoming an adult is becoming a FREE human being, to not get hit for no reason at all, to get a job and feel good about where the money comes from rather than stealing it outa the old womans purse outside.
rareboy13 5 days ago 45
@rareboy13 I feel ya man, im in that life and some people don't seem to understand that they be picking on us and shit, but in the end we become successful and go from the bottom to the top.
kratos508 4 days ago in playlist Favorite videos
@rareboy13 man if you think kids with money dont got problems your outta your tree and if you thinking making bank is gunna make that poor kid happy you just cut that tree down, he'll be alright for a while but shit will catch up to him eventually
gotta be rich in good things to be happy
marrocco911 4 days ago
@marrocco911 you gotta read the rest of my comments to understand where im coming from.. in the last one i said i dont care who you are.. EVERYONE in there life is gonna have problems and struggle, meaning the rich as well.. cause i know they got problems too, everyone does. just gotta surpass those proble,s and become a better person, for yourself.

TomeksFame 5 days ago
@TomeksFame I like the message behind the message, I hate that they took a great message and tainted it with sports figures. This is what we have taught our children and it is a crime. We have taught them that these are heros when they are not. We see heros everyday and choose to ignore them because they are not getting payed millions for their deeds, that is our crime and a crime that we are paying for now and needs to stop. Start today and thank a real hero today. Thanks Dad I miss you always

for everyone saying its easy being a teenager let me tell u its not. this is coming from a 27 year old man from.ny. i been through more hell before the age of 18 then most people go through in a lifetime. i grew up rough and the way things are now i can only imagine how hard it is for them now. im not saying every kid has it rough but dont judge if u dont know. obviously. those saying its easy grew up with everything. given to them. pain is temporary though, im a living testament to that.
Cruiz954 6 days ago
being a man doesnt mean you live by yourself. im 19 i pay for everything, food, everything, for myself but i live with my sister. now me just leaving right now wouldnt lable me a man. that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. i pay for rent too. i work for everything. but just because i dont have my own place it doesnt make me a man. get out of here!
CMT3224 6 days ago

''We've all been sorry,
we've all been hurt.
But how we survived,
is what makes us who we are.''
-Rise Against - Survive
Take care man!

@TheThommeee You want my honest opinion.
Let her go.
You need to feel the pain, pain is the only thing that will offer you happiness. Everything else is hindered.
I have time for nobody, I have no girlfriend, I have no friends, I have no TV, I have no phone, I have no car.
All I have is a bed and food.
I spend all my time in the gym getting fit for the Royal Marines then i want to go on and join the S.A.S
Everything else can come later.
You need to find life outside of people, find you.
