And last but not least, what was your method to break in the car, did u keep it under 4k RPMs for the first 1000 miles?
@MmaNcovers i get about 21 miles to the driving around everywhere and thats driving under 3 grand usually. to fill up its 51 bucks right now from empty. insurance is a ball buster lets just say its alot ha but a grand cheaper than if i got the sti. and to break in my car i drove it quite easy and didnt start modding till like 2000 miles.

So if i'm making $4500 a month i'll be able to drop at least 1000 a month for a car, which most likely will happen, since a lease/finance will be 300 a month , insurance about 400, then gas. If i can't get that job, i'll be struggling, or putting all my money towards a car, which will suck.

I have a job at a hospital as well and live at home (im 21) its amazing how much u save even with bills. im looking at 2011 wrx now just make sure u saved for a while b4 u buy not that it really matters while your living at home u save either way, but it just makes it a whole lot easier

@doubleyouarex you do realize that wrx has stock recirculating bov. That one is just a hybrid bov. recirculates and vents to atmosphere 50/50. Its fine for a stock setup.

I'm looking into a drop in air filter next, I like the spool up sound you got from the Perrin filter, I'm debating between a Perrin or a K&N drop in filter...keep ups posted with the mods done your your REX...
according to the intake pipe, and some filters combined with air speeds at certain acceleration allows you to hear the noise they make, and it's normal. In my case i just have the Perrin filter no aftermarket intake.

I have the same hybrid valve on mine. A bob doesnt harm the engine. It just causes the car to run rich.
