@tactical4587 The wheels and tires are part of the modifications dipshit. The whole point is to compare a car setup by Hotchkis to a car set up by Chevy. If they used the same wheels and tires on both, you'd still see the car handle a lot better because it wasn't rolling all over the fucking place. Not to mention, you can't fit modern disc brakes under the stock rims.

@ITS4390 This isn't a shiny show car that some guy takes out to drive around the block once a year this has been built to perform. Stock rims and tires would make the suspension pointless, whats the point in turning with no grip? You might even damage the car.
@Courage68 I agree,, its like comparing rocks to diamonds.. they went from old school skinnys to modern wide low profile street tires and rims, I bought this suspension for my 72 malibu and it barely made a difference and the ride wasnt as smooth..
Good call Ben Charmin on the TIRES! I wish this was a apples to apples comparison. Also does the "stock nova suspension" have a sway bar front or rear? Hotchkiss sells good stuff but this video needs to be redone in order for me to buy their stuff.
There is an article in a Nova magazine that I picked up that explains how much everything is. Can't remember the prices, but its not cheap, although it looks like it works great.
Is any one not content with there Hotchkis springs???
I put the Hotchkis springs and shocks on my 78 G body, nothing else. I feel like they could be stiffer...?
Maybe I should do bushings and sway bars before complaining?

it almost looks wrong seeing the nova doing that good on a slalom. No body roll, no squealing from the front tires,
sure, it performs better, but kinda takes away from the "nostalgic" part of it. lol.
