Gates open at Bagnell Dam Lake of the Ozarks

I don't know why the 12th gate was not open. I do know they all work. Maybe it would have put to much water down streem at one time.

I was there like 2 months ago and this lady and her mom were fishing, and whe had her baby with her down on the shore.

Every summer went i come down there, i try to go behind the dam, to this part where the camera guy is, it's so wonderful & serene back there, i loved going to the pow wow they had there some years back.

Thank you for your comment. They still have the Mountain Man event below the dam every year. Have you ever been to Ha Ha Tonka State Park? Just another great place here at Lake of the Ozarks.

I saw the lake yesterday the water level i was so low

i got to visit the dam with my friends this week, but they only had, i believe it was 3 gates part way open. we was staying in a lake cabin in laurie, mo, and the lake level was way up!

this is from last year. That have had 5 gates open this year for about a week. The lake is high but not to bad. With all the rain the lake is very muddy! Tks for your post! Oh I live close to Laurie. LOL

Yea we did a lot of fishing during the time they had the flood gates open. You couldn't get too close to the restricted line in a flat bottom boat because the waves felt like they were going to flip us.
