It's a polychaete worm, sea living relatives of earthworms. Family Terebellidae, genus Polycirrus. These guys are really neat - when predators come around they detach the head from the body (just like lizards lose their tails). The head stays in plain sight squirming around while the main body crawls away & eventually regrows another head.
