  • You could always come to Phoenix Comicon to win at a different convention for a change. XD

  • @TimeKaiser Maybe! I don't go to Pittsburgh anymore, they're kind of dicks.

  • I was hoping to see them at this years ('10). I thought they were the best last year.

  • @bustub2 Honestly we were busier with more important things, and after winning two years in a row we wanted to give other people a shot.

  • There really ought to be some sort of stricter criteria for those who wish to parade around in spandex. Just sayin.

  • Great vid!!

  • WHER THE FUCK IS ATROCITUS!?

    that aside, Good work.

  • Dex-Starr is a way better Red Lantern.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah looks like they couldnt find a guy for atrocitus so they used the plush kitty

  • Hilarious!!!

  • Amazing work, you people deserve some major honors, even amongst us otaku's we respect hard work and dedication towards a character cosplay. I'd also wat to pose in a few pics with Larfleeze, an I notice Atrocitus wasn't there, what gives?

  • Thank you very much! And we decided early on that it would be easier to do Dex-Starr. It saved us one person (because six dependable people was pushing it as was) and money costume wise. Spandex for a plush cat is easier than for a full size man.

  • Oh I did not get that, that cat was from the red lantern corp? I guess it's a bit hard to tell its such a small thing. An those costumes look good Saint Walker's mask could use some minor tuning up, maybe something of a mroe latex variety but over all it stil lgarnishes an a+ for effort and for the fact that it's a well done attire, not to mention you actually took on the challenge of doing the lantern corp.

  • Oh yeah, Rage Cat/Dex-Starr. Best member of the Red Lantern Corps. And the plush cat turned out ADORABLE and evil. And yeah, Saint Walker's mask could use some more touching up, but it was made from scratch. Whereas Larfleeze was made from a werewolf mask (with heavy modification obviously). But thank you very much, we always appreciate support.

  • The saint walker mask actually IS latex, but considering I only had a week, no lifecast, and a request for it to be re-wearable, It could have been a lot worse. It also didn't help that SOMEONE has a mullet, lol. I wish I'd given myself more time to rework it, but c'est la vie.

  • Still you guys deserve major props for taking on the challenge.

  • thank you!

  • can you show me how you guys made the larfleeze mask? I'm trying to go as agent orange in a upcoming convention.

  • It's pretty difficult. We had our make up person (who does this for a living) turn a high quality werewolf mask into Larfleeze. She added tusks and all the paint apps. Probably the easiest way to do it.

  • Where did she get the tusks, and do you have a picture of what the mask look like before she change it?

  • I made the tusks, and I do have some progress shots, just dunno where to post em..

  • Oh cool, I saw Ryan's photos of his Larfleeze costume on deviantArt the other day.

  • Everyone wore their ring on the wrong finger.

  • I was the judge dressed as Rogue. It was great meeting all of you!

  • Thank you very much! Same to you. I appreciate that only you actually showed when you were enjoying a skit, whereas the other two judges wore Poker Faces (which we destroyed with the Black Lantern joke).

  • Thats a tall broad.

  • 6' even. Plus wearing heels for the skit.

  • The lanterns shown here are:

    Red: Dex-Starr

    Orange: Larfleeze

    Yellow: Lyssa Dark

    Green: John Stewart

    Blue: Saint Walker

    Indigo: Indigo 1

    & Violet: Carol Ferris

  • Heh, great job, guys. I saw you at the con, but missed the show - glad you taped it!

  • Great job guys. Did I miss the Red Lantern or did you run out of people? Or was I supposed to be the Red Lantern?

  • The cat is the Red Lantern.

  • NOW I see its red insignia

  • Good thing it's in HD!!!!!!

  • Jesus, tom, READ A FUCKING BOOK!

  • To be fair, you could post close up pics of Star Sapphire in the vid to fix it

  • Good film, good skit, good costumes...

    Good man.

  • lol

  • I love that you're holding onto Dex-Starr, and I LOVE how ya'll played out Larfleeze. You're definitely one of the coolest guys in the world, Steve. <3

  • Great skit and costumes! Awesome job all around!

  • Wow, good job guys.

  • That was hilarious! Great job with the costumes, too!

  • congrats you beautiful man

  • that was hilarious! too bad star sapphire was a little off to the right of the camera. i wanted the full effect of Love. anyways, i rate it one star, because that's my number one video! the black lantern joke HAD to be done. well played sir.

(i rated it 5 stars, so don't kill me)

  • Black jokes always apparently hit big in Pittsburgh. Go figure. And yes, Star Sapphire and Lyssa Drak are barely in the video. THANKS ZACH.
