Chan, I've only seen half of this so far, but my god, Sai Kung is very very nice. Lots of outdoorsy areas and obviously its Hong Kong, so there's plenty of water to be seen all around. What did you use to film this?
Your very handsome guy you have nice british acsent...nice vid of HK...i love mountains and trees and stuff.Beautiful creation thanks for showing it to us all....:D
@londongirlhannah Ooh, I just remembered... Have you seen Project S (AKA Supercop or Supercop 2, Once a Cop... too many alternate names)? It starred Michelle Yeoh. There's a scene where she goes to a restaurant which is down the road from my place. And, there's a restaurant literally only a few yards also from my place where Jackie Chan's crew ate when making Rush Hour 2.
@chanjinhai1 I haven't seen that film [though I will look into it now, Michelle Yeoh is awesome].
But do you know what, that would actually excite me so much. That's so incredible! I couldn't imagine something like that happening around where I live!
When I come to Hong Kong in the future [it will happen], I'm visiting that restaurant. Just so I can say I ate in the same place as Jackie Chan's crew.
@londongirlhannah When you come to Hong Kong you've got to go to the Avenue of Stars. Jackie Chan's got his handprint there (his hands are so big!) and... there's a Jackie Chan shop there as well (I bought my Jackie Chan top and phone case there). A nice bit of advertising from me :p
@londongirlhannah There is indeed a Jackie Chan shop. I went there back in 2005 and thinking of going again just to make some really random purchases.
If you're coming to Hong Kong within the next four years, I have no idea where I'll be then. I'll be back in England this December but won't know if I'll be staying or if I'm coming right back to Hong Kong. Maybe when you decide to go and give me a shout I could act as a guide, haha.
awesome vid CJH i wanna go to hong kong, id love to meet jackie chan, cuz he lives there lol u normaly live in england don't u???? if u do what city Just Wondering :) i live in southmpton, oh yeah one more Question have u seen the New Karate Kid???.
@MJDanceMaster You just reminded me, I need to go to the Jackie Chan shop here but I forgot how to get there, haha. I did live in England but I'll be in Hong Kong until December. I live in Torbay in Devon so that's quite far away from Southampton. I haven't seen the new Karate Kid yet but I did see the trailer on a bus here. If I can find someone to go with me, I'll go see it. If not... I'll just have to wait for the DVD!
@chanjinhai1 cool thats awesome, well i hope u can see the new karate kid soon cuz its awesome, and maybe ill go to hong kong one day and u can be my translator lol i can't speak a word of chinese lol do u speak mandarin or cantonese ???
@MJDanceMaster Since you brought up the translator thing I remember when I went to see Rush Hour 2 with a friend I had to translate some of the Cantonese into English for him because some of it wasn't subtitled. Anyway, I think that sort of answers your question, I speak Cantonese... That's not my main Chinese though, the one I speak is actually called Hakka which in my case is similar to Cantonese. And right now I'm also learning Mandarin lol.
nice video! Im thinking of going to Hong Kong for a holiday but I dont know the places or anyone, hehe..where did you get this event thing from? Wow hong kong is pretty~
@AzileKurayami I would've said you could go with some tour companies here but they've been getting some bad press recently so I wouldn't do that, haha. You can just explore I suppose. I can't post the link of the page where I got the Life in a Day info from but if you just search You Tube for lifeinaday and click on the channel you should be able to get to the page.

@naikanomtom Thanks for the comment. I used a Sanyo Xacti VPC CA8 to film this. I had to look at the camera just now to find that model number.

@londongirlhannah For the sights or do you want to get martial arts stuff? :)
chanjinhai1 1 year ago
@chanjinhai1 Hahaha, bit of both to be honest :)
Having seen bits and pieces of it in so many martial arts films, it looked like an attractive place to visit.
See folks, don't get brochures for your holidays! Just watch films xD
