  • Dude, \w/ that rocked

  • Dude you're a fuckin' legend! i've wanted to dance like this for as long as I can remember! I'll be practicing this constantly! Cheers dude! ;)

  • awesome!!!

  • Sorry, but this is'nt the same. Maybe for someone verry "white" in means off dancing skills. Compare it: ?v=UKmhlA2S2K

  • This is similar to Leeroy's dance but a little too much stiff. Your hands and your body should also move to the rhythm, that way it would look better and more natural.

  • i can dance like leeroy too... :-)

  • Why are people so retarded? Leave the guy alone ffs!..yeah his moves aren't overly fluid but I'm sure thats to illustrate easier as to how to do them. Leave the guy alone. I thought it was a cool tutorial mate...nice one!

  • Нашел чем занять себя, вечером 3 января =)

  • bad haircut for that devilish kid look. nice effort, respect ur work.

  • Good to see that there are still people interested in the 90's style breakbeat dance.

Just a remark. Maybe you could not be very "natural" for the needs of the tutorial but there must be more movement and involvement of the arms and shoulders so that the whole "package" looks cooler/smoother..

  • 1:45 nyan cat melodi ^^

  • i can't do it lol

  • hahahhahahahahahha xD lol

  • Search for melbourne shuffle for more awesome moves like this

  • wow big RESPECT man!! great moves

  • больше всего радует, что играет-то имеено Charly, самая отрывная вещь.

  • to all haters who said somthing like "he dont feel the musik" or "it looks robotic" or "like a puppet on strings" this is a tutorial to teach the BASICS to people who dont know anything about that style

  • This is really bodacious...

    Great stuff ;-)

  • I remember trying to re-create that dance many times and looking a complete twat!

  • Enfield ? :D

  • this video is awesome - I always wondered how he did his dance in no good. thx u !!!

  • Nice moves but you're doing the shuffle wrong. I.E. you only shuffle on the heel of your feet, while it's alternating between heel-tip.

  • whats with the arms dude?

  • Excellent.................

  • very good man i'll stick to my own shapes an making a rite wolly of myself on the dance floor:)

  • With heelys.. XD

  • Well i think its awesome. This IS the "everybody in the place"-dance haters!

  • erm, hmmm. Not quite like Leroy is it? Maybe Leroy on downers. If this is based on their multiple videos then I strongly advise that you watch them again!

  • mmmm running man

  • u look like to matt damon!! lol btw nice dancing ;)

  • wtf is The Prodigy Dance????? annd you've put on the most annoying music in the whole world WTF??!!!!!!!!!

  • "Leroy Thornhill`s style." ???

couldn't see it, i only see a ugly version of the running man, just find ur own style and first: dance for fun not for the cam

  • I bought the Prodigy music video VHS as a kid and spent literally hours watching it trying to get Leeroy's dance...

What I didn't realise is that in the clips the floor is always soaking wet or dusty... makes it a HELL of a lot easier!

But still noone can do it as good as Leeroy. 1:45 in 'Everybody in the Place'

  • awesome tutorial man! so, you get your balance from the momentum ? i always manage to screw that up

  • wtf is that prick doing?

  • lol looks almost like hardstyle

  • man, you look like Matt Damon!!!!!

Valeu !!!

  • Thank you for this tutorial!

    I will learn this dance!!

  • Is that a mullet?

  • i still cant do it. :')

  • wow nice finish :P

  • @KennYA51 Elbow-freeze)

  • @KennYA51 Elbow freeze :)

  • Nice!!

Yeah The Prodigy use to have these cool dance styles, they are the coolest in this dancing!!!

  • I'm a 43 year old Londoner and I am delighted that the the way we danced back in our early twenties has been brought back from the dead.

    Good on you lad.

  • @thorhalland u know that..watching with nostalgic eyes ,,, 37 year old se london

  • @thorhalland im 40 n if in enough of a party mood i still do it with the double time he is not using....he is doing 1 step one beat hit it on doubles lad haha then u is shifting!

  • your steps are too big, leeroy only does teeny steps and i dont recall any spinny jumpstyle looking moves or cwalking but thats a nice cool dance of your own

  • @skatejam7

you're right, leroy only does like a single spin or so in 'No good'. But Keith does the spins and C-walk-like-moves.

Man, thanks for the vid. Altough impressed by B-boying, it never really apealed to me personally... except for the way the Prodigy used it, especially in their older Experience-vids :oP

It is so cool in a "I'm raving and I don't care" kinda way. :o)

    Good times!

  • hey its officer dooey from scary movie, retard

  • how much would you charge me to teach me.Im serious

  • everytime i hear this song, i have to dance like this

  • ух.. норм.. я убитым норм втыкал) пойдёт

  • it seems a little bit like shuffle xD

  • RETARD !

  • thank you man

  • 4:42 XDD

  • Easy to follow tutorial, well done! Practicing these to loud music is a great workout

    xx

    \-/

Early house and dance FTW :D

  • Isnt dancing supposed to be a free act? Your moves are thinked. I can do better than that.

  • @savaiadracudejegosi these moves were very popular in the early dance era and this guy is showing us how they (or, more specifically, Leeroy) performs them.

They are base moves that you can mix in to your routine.

    Share the knowledge!!

  • some fucker ruin the ENTIRE tutorial because they threw a pebble right in the middle of the ground at 3:08.... it got me distracted.

  • thank you my friend I have been looking for a long time for a tutorial on these moves

  • This is a great video. excellent that you slow it right down to show how it is done. keep it up! makes it easy to understand exactly how it is done :)

  • good

  • You doeing good..keep that shit up!

  • are u a puppet on a string or are you in space.

  • I reckon the negative comments should be left out. At least the guy is showing us how the moves are put together - fair play to him. He probably does have a better style when he's not in front of a camera and has to think about how it all breaks down. I reckon he's a lot more fluid on the floor in a club .

  • Погань какая-то...

  • Nothing like...

  • The Prodigy is more like freestyle and losing it....

  • Secondly....Just watch how Leeroy dances and see how he feels and shwos it in his moves. ALSO wearing a The Protigy t shirt..... Can u kill yourself PLEASE. An awesome band like The Prodigy and their music..U gotta feel and lose it when u r dancing. u ARE BAAAADDDDDDDDD. Sorry dude, but take it positively and try other styles. maybe salsa, hmm? But dance is dance and any type REQUIRES you to FEEL it. Those spins u make...They must show those to dance fans to show how it should not be done...

  • I would say BAAAAAAD that i geuss that would be an insult to really bad ones. Dude, u beer stop ' trying' to dance and start workign as a butcher or soemthing. First of all music and dance are all about FEEL. and u dotn have it. Your moves are toooo robotic. Making a move just for sake of making it is NOT DANCE. You gotta FEEL it. You are toooo concentrated to amke the move. there is no JOy and FEEL in it. Your walk moves are bad baaaad. Especially your spins are NOT PROPERLY done.

  • man, thats nothing like leeroys style man, your too bouncy and your legs come too far apart. sweet style of your own though! :) ill give you a like :D ill also put up a tut of some of the moves i like to do to dnb and acid, you inspired me, i like to do a mixture of c-walk, up rockin and melb shuffle. and sometimes like to jumble up my running man.

  • stuffle...

  • prodigy in the <3

  • норм я тож учился танцевать с с клипана ноу нуд гггг, в колхозе торчали все :) 90е рулят!!!

  • thanks for this vid. i love the prodigy dances

  • too slow IMO

  • You got it!

  • at first i was like "wtf..." but then i was like "whoa cool man!"

  • não é o estilo leeroy thornhill

  • what's the name of da song at 1:42

  • @riptornadoofsouls its the same song all the way through isnt it? "charlie"

  • nice vid, good progression, shows nice simple effective techniques in that style.

  • Very nice.

    Respect.

  • Been rocking most of these moves since the late 80's. Took me ages to learn 'em from Everybody In The Place video but some good times and many sweaty nights testing them out in the clubs. :)

  • i remember my self pausing and resuming the everybody is in the place clip in order to learn leeroys moves, i did it, but leeroy makes his moves so harmonic, hes the man! great video tho!!!

  • DUDE U SUCK !!!! !!!!

  • Toshe hatshu tak umetj :D *THUMBS UP*

  • @xmaguire87 I'm an old fart now, with some broken legs.

  • At the age of 15-17 i was the king of dance clubs with those moves. That was in 1993-97. What great times!!! Out of space and No good era.

  • @xplanetopplstupid you aged only 2 years from 93-97? :)

  • @swarog306 lmao!!

    I thought the same xD

  • @swarog306 who says mdma and acid fuck with your head. haha.

  • @dedbult hahahaha

  • @xplanetopplstupid me too m8! oooh when i think of those times...dance was the main thing, before the drinks, drugs or even babes...well ok, a good dance made babes sigh just like that :D damn, what an era..

  • @xplanetopplstupid Not forgetting Charly bro ;D

  • @xplanetopplstupid commen mistake here. i think.

  • for got to add...ya dam good....

  • thank you for doing this tutorial lesson...absolute perfection..keep up the good work...!

  • This must get the chicks on the dance floor

  • Hm.. not hard.. Thanks!

  • this is like shuffle and dnb step in one

  • No.

Shuffle and dnb step are like this.

This has been around for 20 years.

  • We all danced similar back in 1990, when old techno (think Beltram) was morphing into the 'hardcore' days prior to DnB and jungle. If you want to track some roots, check out Kid N Play, Big Daddy Kane's dancers in videos from Long Live the Kane and the dancers for N-Joi. That kind of pre-Prodigy era had already laid down the energetic moves that separate it from older house dancing.

  • I used to go to a lot of the events around the SE of England and knew quite a few of the XL records dancers. Keith and Leroy ended up as the most famous, but a guy who appeared at a lot of the events related to XL who we affectionately named the Wizard apparently helped the Prodigy boys develop their steps. If you search some old XL records events from 1990/1991 or some old Groove II events, you may even find The Wizard in action!

    Keep on grooving!

  • 2:20 U never made that move in fast speed at the end. Will u make one more Prodigy dance video? This one was great!

  • luv it bruv n big up prodigy

  • awesome 5/5 for me

  • Thank you soooooo much for posting this video, I have always loved the way the Prodigy dance and am going to copy your moves!!!

  • the Melbourne shuffle... look it up
