This is a fast version, Elvis sang this in a home recording cd and his version was a slow one and I like it, but at the end he laughed, he should have recorded it though.
Although I just like this song, I am partial to The Ink Spots version because of the emotion (sad) but also admit that Fats Waller can't be beat as the consummate entertainer. May not agree but hard to argue with that.
Best version of this song I have ever heard. I really think Vinton is a very under appreciated talent. I saw a PBS special several years ago and was surprised to find out who his favorite singer of all time was-----------Al Jolson.
I haven't heard this song sung by anyone bother than my mother who died many years ago of alchohol poisoning, she wasn't the best of mothers because of the drink but when she sang this song t me it made me feel loved and happy to be with her and her with me. Thanks for sharing......
God, bless you, my grandmother's in the hospital dying of blood cancer and I really needed that, she sings it to me as often as possible and says it's "our song" :D
I play this in on the piano in New Orleans all the time at Tommy's wine bar on Tchoupitoulas.

I grew up listening to this song by Bobby Vinton. I absolutely love it. I like the fun beat and it makes me laugh.

Not as good as Pat Boone's version and no comparison to the Ink Spot's version of this song. I still like it though.

still liked the ink spots one, though. this one doesn't seems romantic at all.

@HiroIndo16 it's not a romantic song in this context, if you listened to his added verse it is a playful teasing song

Check out "Fats" Waller's version, if you haven't already. He owns this song.
