If it wasnt for America, who knows what would have happened. They were helping England since day one with supplies etc. and there is no possible way that D-Day and the battles that followed would have been a success without them. If America stayed out of it 100% since day 1, i really dont think we would have the same result

@rolfart Russians lost more people than all others combined, but also could just say Stalin didn't care how many were lost as he could just keep sending them in, but on a whole the Russians did lose more.

Also, not only did Americans come in late(Though still were a great help) they promised to help all during the war, promising supplies and helps, yet only came through when they were attacked:S

What are you talking about "D-Day was such a horrid thing"? Casualties were lighter than expected and only at Omaha beach did the ability to hold on to the beachead ever come in doubt. D-Day was a great success that goes to the intricate and thorough planning of all the Western Allies (including my country of Canada) under the leadership of the great Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Great game but the intro for the 1st game is propaganda bullshit. makes it sound as england and the allies for that matter were totally indenstructable. the truth is hitler himself won and lost the war through his decisions and indecisions. England wouldnt have stood a chance against the germans after they invaded France and could have made them surrender in Dunkirk.

I agree with the "propaganda feel": not only makes it look like Churchill won the war single-handledly, it blatantly ignores the importance of the Eastern Front. I disagge, however, with the Hitler part: he wasn't the only factor that explains Germany's defeat in WWII.

In fact, it was basically because of America and Russia that he lost the war. And England did in fact withstand Hitler for a LONG time. In case you didn't know he conquered France quite a while before America was brought into the war. But way to be an idiot.

@anteking1 I think the intro implies that England was desparate and holding on for dear life against hitler...and after the US entered the war the tide turned a bit. There is no question that England's perseverance and the US's intervention was the beginning of the 3rd Reich's downfall. Granted, Russia played a large role in defeating Germany...but you can never discount the American and British forces coming strong from the West.

Aslo to add on my first comment. in the newer MOH gams they need to bring back soldiers in uniform and not battle gear, like those SS guys and stuff. Also they need to bring back attack dogs. and umm.... they more nazi flags. that in the orignal. cuz the nazis where all about pride and would have flags everywhere like in the orignal games. they dont seem to have as many in the newer ones
