No where was this more obvious to me than my female career counselor in junior high. Almost every guy I know who had a session with her was encouraged to pursuit a career within manual labour, regardless of grades, talents and interests.

As soon as "traditional roles" disappear completely their will be less and less women who refuse to work like men. No where was this more obvious to me than my female career counselor in junior high. Almost every guy I know who had a session with her was encouraged to pursuit a career within manual labour, regardless of grades, talents and interests.
She encouraged me to become a carpenter or electrician, despite my obvious disinterest.

There is a problem with the culture as a whole, but blaming women for all of the problems or that they are all to fault is not only mis-guided but wrong.
Blaming either gender for the issues is not correct either.
What we need is more balance in the rolls, and during this path to change some will take it negatively others will accept it and flourish. But that choice is only the choice of the one individual and their reaction to the sitution.

I don't feel it is right to falsly accuse anyone of any crime, even rape. Because when it does happen, it is difficult to recover, most women who are raped, never tell anyone. I don’t think feminist invented the history. The focus is the present. You can’t deny the treatment of women by men around the world - the middle east for example. In past time - as said - women had financial inequality, had limitations of rights to suffer. I'm entirely average physically, which puts me at a physical disadvantage to more than half the men in existence.
My reaction is simple: call the police and/or my attorney. I don't attempt to victimize all men -- I just make the ones who hurt me pay.

"Women now account for about half the enrollment in professional programs such as law, medicine and optometry. That is up from 22 percent a generation ago."
With maths the gap is narrowing gradually since the syllabus for it is changing

You telling half the human population just suddenly decided to under-perform please men still dominate all the workforce just not education because most women after passing with flying colors decide to become mothers and give it up. Mostwon't become breadwinners they will simply search for men who earn more than them. It will just be a harder search that's all. Women that can't find one may become a single mother or have no kids.

@beautifulstar33 Again so what men will still go into full time work. Women will most likely go into part-time work. No amount of diplomas is going to get a woman to become a fireman. There will always be jobs for men. The issue now is population and economy not education.
Like i said if boys under perform its because the institutions that set them up want it so. It makes sense since you always here that women are discriminated in the workforce so it would make sense to give affirmative action

@beautifulstar33 Afraid not over 90% of firemen are men. 99.9% of all agricultural work is done by men. All blue collar jobs, soldiers, marines, astronauts, computer work.
Alot of high risk jobs are male dominated and that won't change.
There are alot of jobs out there that don't need education trust me. Engineers can get apprenticeships. In fact you can get degrees without any college work.

Even female dominated areas like amnesty have men as their leaders. Women tend to push men into positions of power and vote men in positions of power.
