  • you know, f-heads, if you don't understand the importance of this, than you can suck my m-f d----.

they are sick because they are not doing the work they need to do.

more than the press is despicable. you the m-f public.

    grow a brain.

  • I disagree that all soliders that have laid their lives in war for the US automatically heroes: What about the ones who shoot innocent people from a helicopter as shown in wikileaks?

    Are they also heroes? l0l

  • what is Kennedy going to do ?? hes way to young to fully retire..?? Maybe he will run for Gov or US senate??

  • He definitely has a lot of heart. I don't think anyone will disagree with most of what he says here.

The only problem is right at the beginning where he seems to imply that the war on terror is totally separate from helping to sort out Afghanistan's internal struggles. That country will be a breeding ground for violent extremists until it stabilizes, especially since we took the liberty of destroying their previous government. If we can do that, we ought to help them install a new one.

  • Israel attacked us on 9/11 - mark my words. They are the only ones who benefited.

  • We have to occupy a foreign country for our protection. Riiiiiight.

  • Wow, this guy is a Kennedy? Pathetic.

  • @elijah5791 Not only that, he is a man, and not afraid to speak up.

  • @botroo2 George Noory is afraid of clowns.

9 times out 10 the room is empty.

  • @JusticePetitioner he's yelling at you, and us and the press and all the other people that have been fooled that is is really about pretecting America. Shame on all of us.

  • @Spacecoastz fuck him and not shame on all of us, When Mr Kennedy was voting for taking up arms against Iraq in 02 people were against it. When he voted for the Homeland Security Act people were against it. Voted yes for 78b for Iraq and Afghanistan people were against it. And last but not least he shows..solidarity with Israel in its fight against terrorism. Now he wants to play hero.. again fuck him. Where was the yelling 8 years ago!

  • @JusticePetitioner And 9 out of 10 Americans have empty or lazy brains.

  • pathetic, it takes a pussy like patrick kennedy to tell the truth..Idiocracy has arrived in america ; its official..lol, obama lied, industrial hemp died and the gulf fried!!

  • Wow, I thought Jimmy Stewart died

  • Afghanistan is a COUNTRY!

    NO F-U-C-K-I-N-G DIP

  • Fuck yea!!!

  • Yeah... and we should snort as much COCAINE and SLUG DOWN as MUCH LIQUOR prior to going onto the floor and giving some INCOHERENT, DISCURSIVE, RAMBLING TIRADE too!

Cotton-mouthed, pupils of the eyes completely black and big as saucers, not to mention that they are "wall-eyed" half the time because he's S-O F-R-E-A-K-I-N' W-I-R-E-D O-U-T O-F H-I-S G-O-D F-O-R-S-A-K-E-N M-I-N-D!

Patrick... Dear God, man, from one recovering addict to another... Get some damn help, dude. PLEASE.

  • Hear hear!

  • "Patches" is correct!

We should go into any country that harbors terrorists, Iran and Pakistan included.

    Good speach "Patches".

  • @Dealit707 Hmmm. I guess we should go into Norway, too. That's where the latest Al Qaeda plot was being hatched - in some apartment. Should we bomb Oslo?

  • lol, "as seen on foxnews com"!!!!

    >:P

  • I admire Patric Kennedy after listening to this video. He is correct on both pts.

Why do Americans not contest this war. They would if Bush was still in office.

  • He reminds me of a muppet.

  • "our troops defending our freedom"..."putting them into harm's way"..."we ought to be after the terrorists".....

    What a hypocrite.

He (and everybody admiring his cheap words) is like a whore who goes around spreading STDs then takes a moment to complain and cry because she just noticed that her pantyhose are soiled.

This asshole is part of the unspoken agreement between the hypocrite leaders and the masses they control : "YOU lie to us and We will go along as if we believe you".

    Rat Race.

  • absolutely, 100% right!

    right on, Patrick Kennedy

  • yea wasnt his grandpa a nazi loving bootlegger but besides that i agree with him on the press cause they aint worth shit.

    ron paul 2012!!!!

  • What the hell is this dude yelling for? Not a country? What the hell is that?

  • @Charmer4856 I think maybe he cares about the troops? Would be nice if more people did.

  • The yelling is over the top.

  • Kennedy Jr. forgot to point the finger at himself when discussing cynicism

  • He forgot to point at himself when he talked about cynicism.

  • Afghanistan has became the Top place to earn money without paying tax or stressing alot. It is a place where you can just go get, sell or kill and get what you need, and believe me there are Golds which distroies millions every year.

the nasional product from that country.

that is why the soldiers are alowed to take down any house they want, when ever they want. Kennedy is not getting the prize of that Gold, but all the fellew get.

He speaks the reallity and it hurts some others. God bles K

  • haha sometimes the truth hurts, dont care, some pf you will take him down too.

  • just another godamn drunken kennedy puke!

the progeny of a nazi loving bootlegger!

    criminals rapists murderers and thieves!

  • you could just replace that word kennedy with bush, and your statement would be equally if not more true

  • @Madcat151 Fifty years ago, the Kennedy's were admired. That was before the crazies and dittoheads started getting everybody mixed up about everything. People have every right to be mad. They just don't know who to go after.

  • Give this guy an award ....He is right even if he acts in a wrong way!!!

  • Good for Rep. Kennedy for calling out the national press corp!! If they had done their "due diligence" in the first place......we would mostly not be in Iraq today!!

  • I think Congressman Kennedy deserves his due respect. To all of those who think that he's such a discredit to Congress, why don't you run? Yeah...that's what I thought. People who sit back and speak so crassly frankly don't have the "balls" (yeah I said it) to get up and do a better job. Congressman Kennedy is absolutely correct about Afghanistan and the press. I served in the military as well (during Desert Storm). Mr. Kennedy is backing the military...are you even listening?

  • This man is talking some common sense. Idk why more people aren't saying this.

  • his points are correct and the problem is once we leave afghanstain the shit is going to hit the fan in a humanitarian crisis! and i do not want any of them in my nation. so let liberals be clear to the american public once we leave expect a huge mess. and the american press fox news CNN ABC all the above all seem to editorialize including NPR! i want to slap them all! sober up patches Kennedy you'll be OK!

  • It's a pity that a lot of what he's saying loses credibility by his shouting. How can anyone take him seriously when he's losing control like that? What sucks is that he's absolutely right, but as shown from the asshats below, his delivery is costing him validity. Too bad.

  • @Agent12yan His anger is righteous, and powerful. It seems authentic to me.

  • who knew that tantrums were hereditary...?

    hilarious.

  • go back to rehab, Mess! just a weird non award winning oscar performance

  • Obama, gets a free pass friend.

  • This is a great and smart congressman. We need more like him.

  • Is that Tom Green in disguise? LOL. Idiot.

  • His voice sounded like he was going to cry lol

  • Yes! I love the passion in Pat Kennedy! Wow, what a real person in politics, he should be in another profession. I don't blame him for not running for re-election. He called it how it is! He spoke the truth! He didn't let the dirty politicians get to him and showed true patriotism.

  • I agree 100% with this man.. People who talk about how he delivered his message just didn't get the point and can't be helped due to their stupidity. Passion oh how i love to see that. Yes All Media is screwed up we need to change that and start giving us real news not B.S like balloon boy crap....

  • As far as I'm concerned, ALL cable and major "news" networks are a JOKE compared to PBS. Cable is by FAR the worst.

Manufacturing, the news media, the middle class . . . So many things began to die when Reagan ($) and the corporatists came to power. Flag pin "patriots" . . . They sold it with the flag . . . and half the country fell for it.

The 30 year nap is over.

  • Erm... I totally agree with a Kennedy? The universe is about to collapse. Rock on Representative Kenendy... rock the F* on.

  • damn I thought his hair was going to fall off! Go Kennedy!

  • good

  • Hysterical, but good points made.

  • Is there any relation to John or Robert Kennedy?

  • @PublicEnemyNumber7, John and Robert Kennedy were Patrick's uncles. Patrick is Ted's son.

  • @PublicEnemyNumber7 As a person who remembers John and Robert Kennedy well, and their tragic assassinations, I find such a question amazing. But, yes, he is their nephew. Ted Kennedy was their younger brother.

  • Are there any Kennedy's left that aren't retarded?

  • he is dead right, if there is a group out there and their intent is to destroy our way of life in the us. we should go and take them out. letting them roam free is suicide

  • There is a group out there-the democrats.

If you were trying to destroy this country yourself....could you do any better than this band of shitbags?

  • He actually makes a lot of sense.

  • afghan is a crap country well lot of land

  • He sounds like that cop from South Park

  • Give the guy a break; he's bipolar, a former alcoholic, depressed, and just lost his father. Before you start calling him names, at least be conscious of his personal problems.

  • soooooo....incredibly spoiled rich kid "grows up" to be a wackjob liberal. I am so surprised.

One thing about liberals that is constant, is that they are always surprised and angry that most people disagree with them. I think this kennedy is already on the road to an unhappy bitter life.

  • @sirjames45 You are so wrong about liberals. You are obviously too young to know that fifty years ago, when we had a good working press, the Kennedy's were admired and that conservatives were the ones being made fun of. Welcome to the Crazy Years. People used to get along so much better and weren't nearly as ignorant.

  • soooooo....the young Kennedy is a moonbat.

Shocking. Maybe he could hold his breath for his next stunt, to show how he cares for the planet.

  • R.I.P. Mary Jo Kopechne, your murderer is where murderers go when they die

  • You're no Jack Kennedy!

  • here's something you can do, reopen the Chappquiddick investigation

  • @1Guitarslayer What would it matter? Teds Dead..just like Zed! Had to throw that Pulp fiction innuendo in there..

  • @1Guitarslayer I'm no fan of Ted Kennedy's, and I believe he is paying for his actions. Now that he's gone though, I don't think it would do any good to reopen that investigation.

  • @kathCT I remember 1969 when the Kopechne event happened. The man had just had not one, but TWO brothers assassinated, and he was having a hard time just keeping a level head. It is such a terrible shame that Ted and other Kennedys have had such RAGE poured on their heads all these years. JFK and RFK were loved in their time. Too bad they left us so early. They might have saved us. Welcome to the CRAZY YEARS.

  • It is refreshing to hear anyone from that group of misfits tell the truth about what is going on! Thank you.

  • Now that you are going out,you finally decide to grow some balls Patches? Yeah, with a rant like that re-election would not be in your future...so this is the end and you take it out on the Journalist's who we all know are worth a shit..I just wish you had that kind of passion on the real subjects.

  • This out burst is what hussein is going to do real soon ,he's about to blow.

  • @7216sp I thought King Hussein, our ally of Jordan, had died.

  • His passion for what is right is good. Power will never make a nation great if it doesn't have wisdom.

  • It's amazing what a politician will say once they're no longer running for office. Can you say Term Limits?

  • Congressman Kennedy is absolutely right about the disservice the national press does to this Country when they focus like a laser on inconsequential, stupid, meaningless things like the Massa issue. We have too many other pressing, critical issues going on. Kennedy may have gone overboard in his rant, but he made a lot of sense when talking about the press, and about the obligation we all have to show more respect for those who serve by focusing on what they're doing as we speak.

  • boy at bet that made Cowardly Oduma crap his pants..LOL..

  • @dozerman09 Oduma? You mean bin Laden?

  • He must have found Ted's hidden bottles of booze.

  • He's announced he's not "resigning",but taking a Sabbatical;this way ,he can put 500,000 of campaign contribution money into an interest bearing account for later use;isn't politics great?

  • It's certainly a lucrative profession. Even more so now that corporations have entered the ring. Should you decide to run for office mrbriscoe2001 I'll toss in a five spot.

  • Feigned outrage from the weakest member of the weakest branch of the Kennedy family, his political career is over and he's trying to imitate one of his dad's fiery (drunken?) speeches as a last minute attempt of living up to the Kennedy name.

He sounds like a sketch character from Mad TV that michael mcdonald played.

  • @RuflessRecords Yep, I guess the Kennedy's that they don't assassinate, they instead kill their reputations with ad hoc attacks. Ignorant remarks like these show a total ignorance of the grief the nation felt when John and Robert Kennedy were killed. For me it was as bad as a death in the family.

  • Comment removed

  • @bodryn Yeah I can tell you're still emotional about it, because you're illogically trying to bring in his uncles' deaths 4 decades ago as some defense of whatever this poorly acted stunt is supposed to be. He is/was crap and nothing compared to his trash adulterer uncles who were at least a lot more skilled/competent politically.

  • @RuflessRecords I guess you get your "news" from gossip columns. I remember when real news let people know how their government was working. You are probably too young to know, but the early sixties were really great! Full of hope for the future. You couldn't know that, going on as you do. I am reminded of a girl I once dated whose father died when she was 12, and she hated him for it. So I guess it's easy to trash JFK with the same kind of thinking.

  • @bodryn did her dead dad hump a lot of broads on the side too?

The early sixties do seem like a great time in a lot of ways, we were still wrong on race much of the time, but better than today on murder rate, drug usage rate, crime rate, divorce rate, STD rate etc etc

  • This blowhard obviously didn't feel the same way when the press did the exact same thing to Bush after the success of the surge.

Thank heavens you won't be in the next Congress, Patches...

  • I was ready for him to say something about "living in a van down by the river".

  • hey jerk off dont give the kennedeys a fucking goddamn thing,. If anything give them your share of your watermelon at your lunchon. This kennedy i know loved my old dog .

  • He's Absolutely Right,....I Can't Believe I am Saying That!!

  • This guy should be president

  • @Geiger74 lmao! I see we have a comedian in the audience.Second thought. He could'nt be any worse than the one we have now.

  • Another proud moment for the dummy libs.

  • If everyone knew just how harmful these false wars are and how complacent the press has been during all this, then they would be made as hell too. This video is not about Kennedy; this is about what we allow our govt to do. Wake up people.

  • @Spacecoastz Agreed. We have 2 ongoing wars, we are in the worst debt ever, and many states can't even afford to keep their schools open five days a week. Our roads are deteriorating, businesses are going overseas, and all we can do is blame the wrong people. How can we not, when the media is no longer on the job?

  • The corporate media is dispicable. They are all about putting shiny objects in front of the people so the people who matter, the wealthy/corporate power, run the country on their own behalf.

As long as the media is dominated by a few corporate interests the public will continue to be conditioned to be as stupid as possible. Like the massive numbers who thought Iraq had something to do with 9/11, they will invent reality for the public while the crooks run the show

  • @Navywxman Right on!

  • Scream all you want. You are the last of the Kennedy clan. We are dancing in the streets to finally see the curse end. With elections like Scott Brown of Mass. it is clear the country has had enough of your entire families arrogance. From Chappaquiddick to Maria Shriver parking wherever she wants. And as for your comment. A majority of your party voted for the Irock liberation that has us here at this point in history, which I gladly supported. So stop your 4 year old wears my sippy cup.

  • @RightCountry It is too bad you see things that way. You would definitely not fit in the world of 1960, when the Kennedy's were liked and admired. I can't imagine anybody even talking like that back then. Some kind of massive hate campaign or something must have happened. I remember the deaths of JFK and RFK as painfully as if they were deaths in my own family. The country was hurt terribly by those events.

  • His dad would be proud of him.

It's great to see a Congressman with guts.

  • YOUR MOM IS DESPICABLE

  • couldnt agree more.

  • Listen to Patrick Kennedy. Why is debate on this action/war not being covered . If it was seriously debated, and covered by media we might not still be in Afghanistan.

  • Kennedy should be heard by all. Why is this war not debated. Is it a war? The country and media have neglected to examine this issue.

  • FUCK ANOTHER KENNEDY??!!!

    get rid of em...

  • its easier to control a misinformed population. just pay your taxes so they can use it to bomb people and in return get your steady diet of american pop 'culture'..

  • Looks Like Pat is good and fucked up on Old Fitzgerald Irish whiskey. Could be that he found the bottle that his old man, Ted, kept hidden in toilet tank of the Capitol men's room.

  • I hear what he's saying but he sounds so much like a character from South Park it's hard to pay close attention.

  • So did rep Kennedy vote to withdraw troops or did he vote aganist it?

  • Rep Kennedy voted AGAINST withdrawing troops from Afghanistan . Why?

  • i thought he supported the gentleman dennis kucinich to remove all troops he jsut sounded real mad...i dont know whats wrong with congressman kennedy...i guess he is stressssssss!!!

  • Fox covers it, the rest of the media wont cover it because they dont want you to know, YOU FAGS should have watched Hannity last night

  • @theygunaHATEME Fox makes up their own news, don't you know that? Sometimes they can embellish on what they have on video, and make it look really bad. What else can you expect of a network founded by Repugs?

  • Wow, he reminds me of his father, one a drunk the other a drug addict.

Thank goodness the Kennedy era is on it's last legs, we've suffered enough from their fake 'goodness' far too long.

  • Kennedy was dead on. The American Public is so misinformed. The American Public is so caught up with American Idol and The Real Housewives that they don't care about our foriegn policy, as long as they get to watch their precious shows.

  • This guy speaks like Rick Flair lol

  • i am no beauty any more but dude has really bad hair.Have not heard much about the war lately .Certainly love our brave men and women over there

  • @cricketplus I care very much for our brave men and women over there, and feel very sad that like me they were suckered into dangerous, perhaps deadly situations, thinking they are serving their country when maybe they are serving the interests of transnational corporate entities, who bankroll our GOP these days.

  • I have a relative that talk like this. My uncle starts soft and get louder and louder where they are screaming and ranting. He drinks and takes phyciatric medication. Boy, kennedy reminds me of him so much.

  • Thank You Pat Kennedy! You know he;s refering to republicans in the first part. The Re-pubs are not concerned with anything but war. It has nothing to do with national security and honor as they say. That's bull. The Republican senators and representatives are stubborn asses who don't give a damn about the welfare of others. At least the Dems are devising plans instead of having a misguided approach to the war as did Bush and when Republicnas are in control.

  • He has issues.

  • No shit Sherlocke, he's bipolar and has suffered from depression most of his life.

  • @bulldogger If you lost 2 uncles to assassination, a father to brain cancer, and your own leg to cancer, maybe you'd suffer a bit, too. In 1961, the Kennedy's were in power, and popular, things really looked good, and JFK would have won a landslide in 1964 if he'd lived. I often think the people behind those assassinations are the ones behind the character assassination now.

  • What a baby!

  • @carneyUGVC Typical whining little liberal.

  • @emeraldweaponjobe I guess you missed the point that he is concerned about the nation in big trouble, and the lives of servicemen on the line, and for what? As a veteran, I find your ad hoc remarks both ignorant and offensive. Liberals are good people. Who started all this badmouthing of liberals anyway? That Lush Limbug?

  • @bodryn I happen to be a Veteran myself, and I am from Rhode Island...Patrick Kennedy has been a congressman for Rhode Island for many years, corrupted, lied, and has done absolutely NOTHING for our troubling state. When I say that, I mean it...he really has done NOTHING at all but whine and complain about things he hasn't taken care of. Ignorant and offensive, huh? Well...too bad. This is America, where I can freely speak mind and let whiny little liberals like you argue with emotion.

  • @emeraldweaponjobe Well, I am not only a veteran but I have 3 university degrees and a lot of experience. You can call me what you will, but what does that make you? Just an ignorant fool who doesn't know recent history. There have been too many fools already wrecking this country. You can do something to improve it, or you can just be another one wrecking it.

  • @bodryn Well, I commend you for your service and your 3 Degrees. Liberalism and Conservatism has been nothing more than a political rivalry over the past century. We don't have to hate each other, but as long as we both care about our country, that's all our founders can ask for. I apologize for what I called you. However, it is suggested to you not to insult other people on here like you've already done so in other posts. There's always a respectful disagreement. Fair enough?

  • Comment removed

  • Dang !!! What happened? Patrick did you sober up after the death of your father??? You actually said something of importance!

  • What are you smoking today Patrick?

  • only assholes use that tired old line.

  • I think his excuse for this rant will be that he had taken Ambien before the speech...Uh,uh Patches! We heard that excuse before!

  • This man is absolutely right & F*** all of you who are downplaying him for his emotions. You cannot discredit people on account of being/getting angry! If you're not off your lazy asses making a different, then STFU..!!

    GO PATRICK KENNEDY..!! w00t, w00t!

  • Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy." Kissinger

  • Yes, I don't agree with what Kissinger said either....

  • Our poor soldiers are like turds in a giant sand box. Liars sent them to die so Americans can feel secure from a threat that ranks lower than peanut allergies as our borders remain open and criminals loot the tax payer for war profits.

  • Listen to his argument. It's compelling, even without the obvious emotion with which it was given. We CAN'T AFFORD to be everywhere all the time and Afghanistan is a useless pit from which we will never emerge.

His point about the press is fair, too: Americans are incessantly talking about nonsensical bullsh*t that is largely irrelevant, instead of debating matters of life and death and billions of dollars.

To dismiss his argument outright is to display ignorance and superficiality.

  • count down to people who disagree with him mistaking him getting emotional for either being drunk or on drugs. "mistaking"....heh.

thank you, pat kennedy. for showing them what we the people cannot. thats what we elected you for :)

  • @Razortine Sure, the people elected him,but not to get emotional about the press, anyone in thier right mind knows journalism is'nt worth a shit these days. If he wants to get emotional than do it on the subjects that matter. Besides,he has a vendetta against the press for stories about him on a personal level and not related to politics..Times are changing and the intoxicated Kennedy playboy's have no role..that role died with Ted!

  • i am ashame of my fellow countrymen for calling this guy a loon.....he only spoke the truth. Anyone not willing to see that, go be among the rest of the Amercian sheep....

  • @pjlace316 I believe he is right in what he is say'ing,it's just the way he is saying it that makes him sound a bit not right in the head. I don't think he would have made this rant if he was running for re-election.

  • Pat and Blago get their hair at the same lego shop.

  • Howard Dean moment there....

What a disgrace that someone like this works for our Country. I'm so happy that Americans have waken up and will send all these idiots packing come Nov. 2010.

  • Love it! The drunken drug addicts swan song!

    SEE YA!

  • I dont want to make fun but this guy reminds me of Chris Frley as Matt Foley - Motivational Speaker from SNL...

    IM sorry he does...

  • @Warriospwn lmao! " I live in a Van down by the River"!!! I came on here to post that he sounded like Chris Farley but you beat me to it! I'm suprised he did'nt have a heart attack right there on the floor!

  • @Jabbot123 LOL!! Tht is exactly wht I was thinkin, RIP Chris Farley and Patrick Kennedy!

  • I cant belive im saying this about a kennedy, but hes right! Hardly any press on the wars ,no more protests in the streets,Where the hell did Cindy Sheean go? I never here a word about blackwater,KBR or any other contractors and they have increaced since W left office.I belive the press is afaid to challange President Obama!!!!

  • bipolar nut
