@code370025 at the end cut off like 15-18 inches and get a 4-5 inch tip it wont make your exhaust "louder" but it will create an echo and change the sound, since its not anything that will changes the actual sound it'll change the note/pitch i believe, basically i'm sayin it ont make the sound worse in my opinion but its not really worth spendin the extra money for, it'll look nice though. Decision is yours on doin it or not
lol the local law here says the same thing to, but we have a guy here who can inspect cars and 9 times outta 10 he don't even check the cats, just cut them open and hollow them out, then weld them back together
I actually did not remove the cats from this system, local law prevents me from removing the converters on anything 1997 and newer, the best i could do is install high flow cats, but for my they are stock. You may be able to remove/hollow yours but check your local emissions laws.
What kinda flowmasters?? Super40's? 44's?
I got a 03 Dodge1500 4X4 with the 4.7
I'm trying to decide between true dual Flowmaster super44's, Dual Cherrybomb vortex mufflers or just throw some 18in glass packs on her.
Any comments???
