No, unless it is a squeal to another game like Destiny 2, it takes place in a different world. With the exception of Symphoina and Phantasia, which takes place 4000 years after Symphoina.

I have played all of the Tales games release in the USA and even some in Japan including Vesperia and Dawn of the New World and Eternia is still my favorite Tales game and my favorite game of all time.

You mean, Tales of ETERNIA. The US Version is called Tales of Destiny 2, for some reason. The REAL Tales of Destiny 2 never came to the US.

Tha reason was the title of ETERNIA is copy right. They dont want to get sue so they change the title. This is why USA suck. To many fuking greedy asshole trying to license name so no one can take it. Why you think M-Bison was change in USA. its Due to M Tyson. when tales of Eternia was initially released for the States, they had called it Tales of Destiny 2, not expecting an actual Game called "Tales of Destiny 2".

The main reason was that the name "Eternia" was copyright at the time, but they were able to use the name eternia for the PSP version.

Don't jump to conclusions without some research.

Its available on the playstation 1 under the name Tales of Destiny 2. And it is re-released on the psp under the name Tales of Eternia. IMO great games, but thats what i think about all Tales of games.
