yeah those tools are pretty expensive i have a set of gundam markers and its almost worth like a hg 1/144 scale gundam but if your low on budget you can find some tools in the art store its almost half the price
whats the difference of an MG from a non-grade? and im planning to buy the 00 gundam plus raiser kit but would you recommend them separately: thx for your nice reviews man, :D
@inlazoname the difference is that a non-grade is just a 1/100 version of the highgrade give or take slightly better detail. a MG is something that takes a model and completely "awesome-afies" it ( it that was an actual verb) MG's usually take a model and puts it in a totally new level. (newer) MG's include movable fingers, enhanced playability and articulation, detail is enhanced 10-fold (same with the price lol), and include gimmicks not featured in non-grades. hope that helps
@yami5677 well thanks for the info dude, im sticking on collecting 1/100 and so long as there is a MG, ill pick it up rather than a NG,just like my MG Strike+IWSP, I was so satisfied that i bought it, anyways for models that do not have a MG version, well i guess ill stick to its NG so long as its a 1/100 scale :D
hello rrobert184 I have a question, from what I've watch in this video is pretty impressive BUT I'm still kinda confuse that is this kit worth the money. So hope you don't mind answering this question. Thanks
Nice model. I have some questions. How do you make your tamiya paint go on smoothly. im havin problems with dry brushing mine, its goin on to thick and streaky. and what are other brands of paint that dry brushes smoothly
dry brushing? i just use a regular brush, shake the paint, and put on a couple of coats front and back in one sitting. check out my review of seravee for more details.
@rrobbert184 Hey, Robert! can u help me out? my 00 gundam's arm piece, d11, broke in poly cap D, and on top of that i don't have the batteries i need. So can u send me the email adress for bandi and tell me what size battery i need. he is on my shelf collecting dust. ;(
I tried to paint the clear pieces of my NG Exia, but i completely messed up. I used normal green colour and Mr. Color Thinner and mixed it, but the result was nowhere near your painted parts. Can you help me out, rrobbert?
I thought, normal green would do it, if i use the thinner, but the color just runs off the plastic. Where can i order the colors you use? I guess, that would solve my problem. And thx for the fast reply :)
Oh wait, i just rewatched your Arios-review and now i know my mistake. The thinner is used AFTER i applied the color, right? I also found the colors you use on ebay, so i guess, i should not having any problems now. This was the first time i tried to paint my models and i failed :(
Where did you get the Tamiya Color paints? I tried looking for them with no luck on the ones you use.
