She auditioned for so many parts in really good movies that she didn't get, which is ridiculous since she's an AMAZING actress - anyone who watches Skins knows that, regardless of whether or not you like the character. She definitely should have been Katniss in the Hunger Games - she even looks the part! I've heard Jennifer Lawrence is a pretty good actress as well, but Kaya looks the part and can act the part. It's so sad :(

OMG, I just realized that if Kaya were to play Katniss, she would be going up against Clash of the Titans sequel, Wrath of the Titans. It's a little ironic and stupid that Warner Bros. would change Wrath of the Titans release date to The Hunger Games release date. The Hunger Games is gonna crush them so it's actually really really stupid. I'll be watching The Hunger Games for sure!

She was one of the victims of Letterier's script change the studio had taken liberties with. She had a few more scenes which are on the blu-ray dvd. They included more dialogue and one action scene as well.
