  • thank u so much for share this!

  • WHERE O WHERE CAN OUR LITTLE DARCY BE?

  • @johnnymonjohnny10 I ask myself, well, your life and you have to wish him well in that great bass player

  • Whatever happened to songs that had amazing opening riffs like this one?

  • coke heads are gross!!!!! I'm a Dr. Pepper man myself :)

  • these people dont even know how lucky they are

  • this is ace !

theres so little footage of the pumpkins !!

we need more live shows in DVD !

    specially from the 90s !

  • ahhhh, the song of my heart. 20 years already!

  • This is an amazing post and I love pumpkins but corgan is a douche bag. "We love eachother right? Ya, ya..." Sarcasm that is so blatantly rockstar.

  • How amazing is Billy Corgans Voice!

  • The Silversun Pickups will never be The Smashing Pumpkins!

  • little did these people know that they would be the biggest band of the 90's. :o

  • best smashing pumpkins video on youtube, so much darcy...

  • I Love you Billy!!!!

  • I love you pumpkins.

  • think of how fucking awesome it would have been to be in that crowd.

  • darcy is only wearing her bra right?

  • @dimarziotonezone23 No, she's wearing a shirt, you just can't see it.

  • lol i was still an accident that hadnt happened when this video was shot!

  • sounds like he's using the bi-phase even here in this club setting...but it may be just recording audio phasing.

  • @talpajam I doubt he carted that thing around with him to clubs. He's probably using a Small Stone or something.

  • Man the outro feedback jam was damn close to the studio version! This band was so damn awesome.

  • This is a great version.

  • this song is fucking amazing

gives me a mellow bittersweet euphoric experience everytime time

would have to be be 1 of my favorite SP songs

even tho i was only 2 years old when this clip was filmed

  • Wow... history. And I love how no one had yet heard of "Singles."

  • 4 people dont like it? :O

  • Lmao billy. what an idiot..

There ya go guys well idiots who were asking what album the song was off of. it's the singles soundtrack a movie that to be honest was gay but it featured pearl jam smashing pumpkins 90's grunge. Good soundtrack movie not so much.

  • im gonna have to get working on my time machine

  • i would shave my hair to see them

  • @GLboy1 thats not sacrificing much you nob jockey

  • eh......

  • Smashing pumpkins rick I wish they would out a rocking new CD yes a CD. Ho yea buy the way a coke head = D'Arcy well been there done that what the fuck you going to do LOL

  • yes they have a shoegaze influence

definitely.......even when their dosn't shoegaze at all

  • a 18 year old girl actually died at a Smashing Pumpkins concert

  • @Rob22182 i know, but it wasnt my fault! we were in the middle of fucking and SP started playing Bullet With Butterfly Wings. i guess i got a little carried away with it...

  • what an intimate atmosphere, everyone packed in close like that...had to be great to be there

  • d'arcy is still hot even if she is a coke head, and smashing pumpkins are amazing :D

  • @Mew0322 Everyone's a coke head

  • @Mew0322 pretty sure her problems were with the Needle and not her nose.

  • @Mew0322 Darcy is a cokehead now? If so very sad.

  • Excelente .....tiempos que no volveran

  • q rolon q espocas pumkianas

    oh yeahhhhhhh sp.

  • Oh D'Arcy! you're so hot!

  • i got singles cd fuckin awsome its got pearl jam crs cornel mother love bone jimi hendrix smashing pumpkins fuckin good sound track BUY IT PPL

  • quality stuff

  • Super Cool! I love watching videos of them from this time period. I can't believe how well Billy was able to play the solo live. I always thought he used a bunch of studio tricks......and no e-bow! I thought for sure he was using an e-bow for this solo.

  • na he's a sick guitar player, definately underated

  • yea man

  • 2:09 - 2:17 is a really mellow chilled bit its nice

  • yea, yea, i love you too, yea. i admire how bord he sounds there =P

  • never saw it performed live i always imagined that James did the solo

  • billy plays almost all their solos. he plays lead guitar on a majority of their songs.

  • Great sound track, great song, great video. Lots of shots of D'arcy. She is was such a hottie bass player. Now???

  • You're right man, on all of your points.

  • not so much any more.. ha

  • What kind of amp is he feeding back into ?..Looks like a vintage Vox head/trolley rig...?

  • Billy Corgan used a Marshall back then up to Mellon Collie. He changed it after but I'm not sure what he used after.

  • Such an amazing band, it so unfortunate that they had to break-up. :(

  • Haha, from movie Singles, eh? I have the sountrack and love all the songs there. Check it out if you like grunge. I feel so old..

  • LOL agree 100%. I own the soundtrack for Singles too... it's my favorite and probably the best soundtrack of all time IMO

Forrest Gump comes damn close, Almost Famous behind that. But Singles, not the greatest movie, was an "event" in modern rock history that people shouldn't forget.

But it does seem forgotten by many. Too bad. The Chris Cornell cut "Seasons" is one of my fav songs, "Birth Ritual" is great too...

All of em... the Pearl Jam tunes, "Drown", Screaming Trees, Hendrix, "Would?"

  • Old is actually remembering when this album, movie and Gish came out. They put on a free show in Minneapolis in 1998 and that was even a long time ago now, but I remember it like yesterday.

  • that was fkin awesome!

  • this is amazing footage

  • Is there with anyone here who feels the same as I, to regain the innocence of our youth back, if been taken?!

  • I love this...

  • Yeaaay yeaaa I love you too lol so funny

  • Descendant of Corganism at Amazon

  • Damn it! That's amazing

  • I love D'arcy for fuckin ever !

  • I wanna do D'arcy! Sheeeeee's so hot!!!!!!!

    Too bad she's gone-

  • this is one of the best songs from SP, in my opinion. *-*

  • D'arcy looks sooooo hot!

  • My all time favorite Pumpkins song.

  • Dude, you scored with this clip. These guys in the crowd had no clue at the time.

  • Love you too

  • One of the Best songs Ever!!

  • fantastic!

  • killer clip! keep the goodies coming bud!!!

  • underscoredan, how'd you get a hold of these vids, are they on some video i haven't heard of? just having a hard time finding them anywhere

  • darcy is a tease from b-hind....

  • I miss the mosh pits....

  • That whole "Singles" soundtrack is awesome, and this video is fucking sweet I never actually seen them do the full version live before.

  • one of the, of not the best sp song ever

  • i love everything about this video. I love the song, i love the beginning part when billy says we all love each other, i love the pointy shoes hes wearing, i love the poor lighting in the club, and i love d'arcy without a shirt. Just wholly and completely awesome.

  • Couldnt agree with you more. Love the background noise of people talking, having a good time......such an intimate setting...and feeling....and such a very very good song

  • im gonna have a heart attack!!! im at work and i wont watch this no more cos im gonna cry missing those years.

  • geek usa was good too

  • singles...underrated

  • best pumpkins song

  • one of many

  • FN SICK!

  • Drown has got to be one of my favorite SP songs, that and Starla. Freakin' love classic Pumpkins.

  • Ah that's right... Billy used to have hair! :)

  • i like this song

  • Silversun Pickups have a bit to go before they reach pumpkin territory!!!

  • this should have made it to an album

  • They were gonna put it on Pisces Iscariot but Billy decided not to.

  • yerosnake, get their album 'Pisces Iscariot', & the song 'X.Y.U.' has the most killer 'feedback' solo ever!

  • does anyone have a clue where this show took place? I lived in Chicago in the '90s and used to see them at Lounge Ax where they billed as "the Turnips" sometimes...I think right when Gish came out.

  • look at like 4:05 to 4:10, some one rips a huge hit in the crowd! haha

  • i love the static at the end, it is called static right? does anyone know any songs where they have that during the whole song? if you don't know what im talking about just ask, but it starts at like 5:23, im sure you know.

  • Distortion you mean.

  • no he means the really fuzzy feedback. i think that's just a result of the big effects chain and the fuzzbox

  • Well, at first it's just another effect, but later he takes the guitar near the amp, which then creates feedback.

  • @yerosnake Yea it's called distortion

  • Did Billy or James ever do any drugs? I know Jimmy and D'arcy did.

  • billy corgan and james iha never did drugs. thats why jimmy got kicked out, he and john melvoin did heroin and john died. billy was very against it.

  • No marshall, they did a lot of drugs during the Gish and Siamese Dream Era. Billy usually popped pills and James did Heroin.

  • lol I was gonna say "are you joking?" Billy did like LSD too if I can remember correctly.

  • @Watch4 yea and their key boardist died of an overdose and that's why jimmy wasn't involved in adore.

  • @KittenzAV2 I'm sure they did at one point in their life but obviously not at that time.

  • billy with hair- VINTAGE =P

  • This song is so chill, I love the pumpkins. I honestly wish I had been like 5 or 10 years older. I'd have my youth primetime when this kinda music was really going on. Love it.

  • Shit, seeing this makes me feel old.

  • wudup david glaze

  • nuddin much tanner

  • You can almost smell the hemp coming through the screen.

Thanks, mate, for one of the best clips I have seen here. And Darcy...mmmm.

  • Amazing feedbacking..!!!! :'(

  • Thank you so much for putting this up. It made my day!

  • I don't get how so many people can overlook the genius of Billy's feedback and distortion abilities. To make it work, and be able to be listened to without feeling like you bit into a lemon, is hard. He pulls it off with ease and greatness. The ending with the instrumental is one of the best I've heard. Some people would skip to the next song (thanks cds) when this part came on, but I think it's just as glorious as any vocal laden parts.

  • With you there Jennifer. He borders on a sharp, almost intolerable edge, then brings it back again to a sweet, succulent finish. Only Hendrix could pull that off with regularity.

  • My most favorite favorite band BY FAR...I mean...fucking 15 years of loving a band is quite amazing considering the changes music has gone through.

  • i wouldve given anything to see them like this in '92...

  • I with you a 100,000,000%

  • jesus god no shit, i was fucking 16 living in a small town in '92, going through my own coming of age. headbanger's ball was all i had. pumpkins didnt come out till a year or so later. what i would have given to have received the gift the people at this show did.

  • yea man sme here

  • nice

  • Nice to see the old club and intimate settings , and how some folks , including security guard had their jaws dropped at one point in this song This song is God saying to us : Check out the beauty of Billy s guitar

  • Gawd

I always savor the old Pumpkin's drown.

Pumpkins 2007's "drown" is kinda watered down.

  • Singles ....best movie ever!!

    songs deadly too...=]

  • why is billy wearing a wig-----just kidding---luv this song---nice vibe at the gig---we all luv each other?----right....

  • HEROINNNNNNN

  • jimmy did heroin.

    and only jimmy.
