This show had incrediibly good acting. The cast was just great--esp Vic Morrow. He was estranged from his oldest daughter, Jennifer Jason Leigh, at the time of his death. Sad, for her tho. I'd heard that Vic was very well liked by cast members.
Yeah, well, JJL is a weird chick, anyhow. I'll bet she didn't grow up on Ramen Noodles, and that was at least partly because of her father. I don't like watching her, for her weirdness, and because her looks creep me out. Vic Morrow was an incredibly handsome man, but makes for an ugly woman. That's what JJL is: a visual carbon copy of VM, but as a woman. Yuck.

@chainamarie03 I dunno. Maybe someone said, 'You look just like your dad', and she couldn't have that. I haven't seen her since 'Single White Female', which was sick and awful, so it's been awhile. I'm biased; I LOVE Vic Morrow, but to be fair, I didn't know him, and I don't know her. Maybe he was a bad dad. I don't think so, though. She strikes me as the ungrateful, spoiled-brat type. I guess, if I'd never seen VM, I might have thought her pretty. But she'll always be VM with long hair. Squick!
I don't know if you're still interested in this topic after a year, but if you are, check out 'Combat! Babyvid' by TheOneTrueDoc. I think The WMG Nazi Police have shut down the audio, (or I'm having an audio glitch) but if so, just sync it to Elton John's 'Blessed'. Believe me, it's well worth the effort. It's a beautiful and thoroughly heartbreaking video, for anyone who knows the history of VM's family, death, etc. Watch him hug that baby and tell me he was just acting.

as a vet,i can't comment on what the actors did or why,all i can say is you have to respect the men and women who served,and unfortunately those who died got off lucky,because the ones that survived live those horrific moments for the rest of there lives.if you ever come upon a vet,crying for no reason at atall,its because he still can't come to grips why he survived,it's something that never goes away.

Masterpiece of a video The best self-made vid I've ever seen (& better than the official one). The segment from 2:58 through 3:40 is PURE GENIUS!! Congrats, TrueDoc, and all to make a statement truly worth making. Loved it!!
