  • Hey guys, do you any of you know the alternate song from this episode? There's an alternate version that has been used, too. Do any of you guys remember it?

  • @mrhybrantvegeta @mrhybrantvegeta The name of the song is "You'll Be My Love" and the singer is Bob Gleaves. You can watch that ending here: /watch?v=O_klEA7EVXc

  • it's on Netflix,peeps...

  • When life was simple

  • @jwalker627 before technology!

  • yeah!! but... they were never ment to be together :S </3

  • im so ready for this to be put on dvd series.....makes me feel old

  • without question one of the best shows in TV history...up there with MASH, Hill Street Blues, NYPD BLUE....

  • Got to say that the best ending was the last one. "Growing up happens in a heartbeat. One day you're in diapers, the next day you're gone. But the memories of chlldhood stay with you for the long haul." Incredible.

  • @JOSECANUCCJ wow reading that quote just gave me a chill down my spine and i felt goosebumps. The last episode was really sad cause it was THE FINAL EPISODE and the fact you grew up with him remembering all the past episodes.

    so sad ;(

  • what if the found each other at this dance? would the show have ended differently? Makes you think of all the miss connection in life. Man what great show

  • this show is the best show ever

  • amazing writing, amazing acting, amazing show!!!

  • Classic

  • Bulls eye.

  • this ep was on last night love it

  • The audio and sound is back!

  • 6 heartless people.

  • ah the junior high school dance first time i ever held a girl in my arms. wanting so much more . but so unsure of my self. that was 1974 . i was 14* that was a life ago.

( I would meet the girl that became my wife 3 years later and married her in1990 still in love with her)

  • best show i have ever seen

  • the wonder years tv series is already out on DVD

  • @bebow666 Thats true-in a way. Fox released two best of dvds in 1998 but the music was changed. Bootleggers has been selling the "Comeplete Series" but its stuff recorded from Tv. So yes, its released. And no. Not in the original broadcast version. remastered from the original master tapes.

  • i've been watching wonder years clips for an hour now. :)

  • This is bullshit!

  • Bullshit this is.

  • I agree. G-Da*nit.

    EVIL. EVIL. EVIL.

  • Yesterday, Napster. And now, YouTube? This is a fight against the mankind. Resistance is not futile.

  • No sound because of copyrighted music... and this is why the Wonder Years still doesn't have a DVD release... for the same damn reason...

  • Youtube will go to the trouble of taking off copyrighted music from videos but they wont bother deleting the racist and sexist comments about the videos...odd

  • This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG. The audio has been disabled. Copyrights sucks!

  • Yea, I don't think that was the original song that played in this scene when it first aired on TV, tkwondo000.

From what I remember it was Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers. But, because of copyright and all that jazz, it was taken out of the current rebroadcasts on TV.

That Bob Gleaves song def wasn't in the original version of this ep. To me, Unchained Melody is far more fitting for this moment and hits you harder than "You'll Be My Love"...

  • Hey all.

Ye the name of the song at the end of this was called ..."Youll be my Love".. by Bob Gleaves.

Took me ages , weeks to track it down!!..But its the best.! I think still an episode on here you tube with the track still on it. Hope it helps.

  • fucken copie right laws sucks

  • they took the song out..

    well that killed it

    and theres no kevni speechhhhhh

    damnn

  • i love this show is my favorite i cant believe they took it out...its classic!!!

  • that was a good episode. Too bad he never ended up with herb :(

  • best episode? check out the laake

  • In what city takes place this tv show?

  • They never said a particular city or town.. they did that so EVERYBODY around the country could relate to this. Imagine it was them, in their home town ect.

  • Absolutely great show

  • The white 1959 Chevy El Camino (sitting in the driveway of Winnie Cooper's house) and used in the first two episodes of "The Wonder Years" and in the opening credits belonged to my dad..The movie studio paid him money for the use of his truck back in 1988..In the series, the truck belonged to Winnie Cooper's brother, Brian Cooper, who was killed in Vietnam

  • duuude, really? Hope the car is still with you..Best wishes I love this series.

  • me dad got some of the dvds so i wathc episdoes very good show helps in life alot @!

  • wow, I love this show. It is one of those shows that you don't have to laugh or anything, but you bring so much out of it!!

  • hold me.

  • thank you so much for reminding me what great television was....ahhh

  • If politicians were as talented about running a country as directors are with making great shows like this; then the United States would be heaven on earth.

  • Mas sei que em algum lugar, terá alguém esperando por nós...cry!!!

  • the narration at the end of this episode is right on!

  • One of the best shows....whatever happend to shows like this anyways?

  • Every episode of this show is on point. I hope they can come to an agreement with the musicians and make the dvds already. Top 5 shows of all time, in my opinion.

  • @phantomx16x

good grief no kidding...lets get the dvd's already.....

  • @phantomx16x I LOVE this show, and I realize the show's final season finale is unrealistic... But why couldn't they have given the loyal fans a bone and let Kevin and Winnie be together?!?! This somewhat tarnished the legacy of an otherwise OUTSTANDING show...

  • @Ooftyman I know it was a downer that Winnie and Kevin didnt end up together, but life is like that. You dont always end up with your first love, or even the person that seems perfect.

  • @pepper61455 This is too true. I just re-watched this series and it hit close to home.

  • @phantomx16x Is this really why I can't find the box set anywhere? Greed destroys everything good.

  • @phantomx16x

That's not going to happen. I'll call it right now. Clearly the music execs are soulless tards. That's why' they're f'ing up some of these WY eps. on youtube. A-HOLES.

  • I remember first watching this episode, as a young kid, being so mad that they just missed each other. It may have made me cry. Haha.

  • best show ever

    period

  • this is my favorite episode of the entire series! thanks for posting.

  • I saw this ending with unchained melody, and the same ending with a different song ? please explain ??

  • some have said that the series has yet to make it to dvd due to copyrights of the songs. maybe they had to change some of the songs when the show went into reruns. i was thinking it was unchained melody, crimson and clover and one other song, but it has been years since i saw this episode.

  • fuck you fred savage is amazing, shushh

  • the best episodes were as followes: the one when waynes friend comes home from the military....the one were winnies brother dies......and the one that ends with the school walking out saying "give peace a chance"........i heart being right :-)

  • i wasn't born when this was made... i havnt seen 1 episode.. i love to see an episode though and see what i think of it..

  • I've always loved this part.

  • No doubt this TV show was the best ever produced. I don't think it will ever be topped.

  • There are some tears on my cheeks at the moment! I love "The Wonder Years". I grew up with Kevin. I'm from a little town in Mexico called Madera, Chihuahua. Thank you for posting this video!

  • thanks dude,best episode ever

  • I always see a part of myself in Kevin's role. I loved this show. This is my favorite TV series of all time.

  • wow! that quote is soooo true!

    A ;p

  • love rthis whole show love watching it it rocks

  • does anyone know if this show is played on tv??

  • Who knows the name of this episode????

  • It's called "Don't You Know Anything About Women?" Episode 34 of the series.

  • It's called "Don't You Know Anything About Women?" Episode 34 of the series.

  • What an ending..absolute Magic. Talk about love..and loss.and so many thing..wow. The ending was really stunning to see Winnie come on right at the end but they dont actually see each other..searching. Powerful. I love Unchained Melody but the end Song on the TV episode last nite was so beautifull too. Going crazy trying to find it too!! Any help any1?! Thanx for posting this vid.

  • #1 show of all time!

  • i love this episode!

  • damn the wonder years is such a classic, best tv show ever!!! i wish they can play it on tv again.

  • I'm glad I found this on youtube. Thank you to the person who posted it. I grew up watching this show during its original run and later on syndication. The end of this episode gets me everytime. The narration is so simple, yet so brilliant. Also, a great choice for the song.

  • Amoooo a Kevin Arnooooooold!!!!

La mejor serie que he visto en mi vida! describía tantas situaciones que a uno le pasaban al igual en la adolescencia... toda una joya!!

    Gracias por estas imágenes...

  • wats da name playing in da background?....

  • quien tiene este capitulo en español

  • I think there were 3 main points that made this show popular for kids and adults alike. The 1st theme was Kevin's pre teen/teen questions and experiences that he went through. Everyone remembers how confusing life is at that age, most of us all had those same experiences. The 2nd was time frame in the late 60's and early 70's. Adults recall all the events they saw on the show b/c they lived them in history! 3rd is the music, it's simply the greatest collection of hits in any tv series ever,IMO.

  • not to mention the clever, witty scripts and excellent acting, and an all round high quality show - a rarity on the box these days.

  • One of my fave episodes!

  • okay, why does the family channel play Sabrina the Teenage Witch when shows like this don't get played at all!!

  • AHH MY FAVORITE EP EVER! by far the greatest most well written show of all timeeee..love this song too & quote! =D

  • I liked the episodes when Kevin was a little older.

  • the one thing i loved about this show was all the retro music played in it.

  • In the 90's when I watched it, I kept thinking to myself throughout the episode "Where is Winnie??!!" and then she pops out at the end. It's great, thought they were meant for each other but then the last episode we find out Kevin marries someone else. Argh! How could they do that to me? Broke my heart.

  • They don't end up together. Winnie left the summer after graduation to study art history in Paris. They wrote to each other once a week for the next eight years. Kevin was there to meet her, when she came home, with his wife and their first son.

  • well that just BLOWS! but i will alwasy think and always see it as they did end up together

  • Well, maybe they did eventually. =P You never know what happened to the narrator.

  • um excuse me I don't know who the hell you think you are but the narrator is Kevin. I think you owe me an apology.

  • in the last eposode, the voice of kevin states that him and winnie wrote every week for the next so many years , and when she came back he whent to pick her up with his son.

  • I think he's talking about the music referred to in the description. Because of music rights the show was re-scored with "generic" music to replace the songs from the 60s/70s that were used. For example, in the pilot when Kevin and Winnie first kiss, "When a Man Loves a Woman" was replaced with an instrumental vaguely resembling it. It's awful by comparison and detracts a lot from the show's nostalgic appeal :-(

  • Is this ending supposed to be sad? I saw it on TV the other day, and I'm not sure what happens. So is Kevin Arnold alone at the dance? I haven't seen to much of this show. Is "Kevin Arnold" his name? This was on TV just a few nights ago.

  • Best show ever. I second that.

  • carla is a hottie =p

  • all i can say is brilliant!

  • great ending. but i have to say that my favorite ending is the one of an episode called "kevin delivers" is there any chance you could get that episode on youtube?

  • u can buy all the show on dvd. i got them off some guy on ebay , there recorded to dvd of ABC , he charges about 30 pounds but there good qualaty

  • how good is good quality.. is it like dvd type quality???

  • most episodes are 100% ok iv wotched all 15 dvds and theres prob around 5 episodes that are of a lower qualaty, but there still very wotchable and enjoyable, other than that , there is an american website that has them on dvd , at dvd qualaty , the only prop here is there set at reagin 1 and the uk is reagen 2 , but you can unlock ur dvd easy ,

  • This has got to the best writing for its short segment among that in TV history. I thought it the second I saw it in the 90's and haven't changed my mind.

The show had its ups and downs, but at moments like this, it was simply brilliant. Absolutely stunningly brilliant.

  • THATS SO SAD

  • does anyone know wat days and time they give the wonder years on ABC family?

  • omg. that just made me cry. how heartbreaking!

  • aaaww!

  • the genious of this episode was that winnie didn't appear till the very end. brilliant.

  • GENIUS

  • every episode of the wonder years just makes me want to cry

  • Great, great clip. The episode was on tonight and I hoped someone put that wonderful ending on YouTube. Thanks. Nicest bit of TV I can think of. Perfectly charming.

  • Best show ever, I love it! Thanks

  • I loved this show .

What i loved about it the most was the romance between Kevin and Winnie and the naration which made this show great in stead of just good .

I always laughed about the teachers .

They were such funny and typical characters .

  • This is the best ending to a TV show EVER. I've been looking for this for such a long time. THANK YOU !

  • omg that just broke my heart.

  • I like this original ending much better.!

  • I wish they would show more reruns on ABC Family. I still love The Wonder Years now these days. I'm never sick of it. They really need to release it on DVD.

  • CLASSIC!!!
